When I was heading into the lifts at work yesterday, a colleague and member of the St Kilda cheer squad yelled out to me that we're into Tim Membrey. She had absolutely no good reason to go out of her way to tell me this so i'll take it as some kind of truth.

Either we've been seduced from the Sandringham stat sheet from last week or this is a carry over from a few years back when a poster was adamant we tried to trade for him.

Maybe she fancies you 😘

His body is also mostly cooked, if we are going to invest to recruit someone it should be a younger prospect.

Same was said about brown, I think he’s probably in better condition than he was.

Who is a younger prospect that is gettable this off season and would come to dees, I don’t see any that would be notable. I don’t think the king bros are gettable nor is Larkey or McDonald not sure who else you have in mind

Not sure, the FD has to do their job. For all the great recruiting and drafting they have delivered the last 6 or 7 years, the glaring pitfall has been getting a solid KPF (BBB was unfortunately a one year wonder, a very good one for that).

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
