Leadership lacking

Featured Replies

Id still keep Rovers in the leadership group. He is a general down back bar the pies game.

But sitting there friday night I thought Nathan Jones frustrates the hell out of me. When we are losing he looks a very ordinary player but when we win he plays really well.

Brad Grenns miss shots are frustarting to. All shots he took friday night I hotught time for the captain to stand up. They spoke baout it after the game friday night how it was our youngsters that stood up and were our best. It was also mentioned how Howe went back and put a goal though yet Green missed the exact same shot.

We at least need one of our leaders to stand up not all of them disappear in the one game.

I was also impressed with Watts.

Pretty sure it was after one of Sylvia's goals that you could see Watts clapping his hands and trying to get the other boys pumped up. He was also pointing to players and telling them what to do.

In comparison Brad 'Caretaker Captain' Green had a sip from his water bottle and walked back to his position.

Bring Jack T into the leadership group next year. He handled the inevitable Tom Scully question this morning with ease and then went onto say that he would be happy to take less if it meant Tom stayed. Gotta love the boy.
