So my membership card just turned up in the mail with a bill for $185.00.

Is this happening to others? Seems an expensive process and a very forthright way of getting people to renew!

I know Hawthorn have been doing this for a number of years and probably other clubs as well. i think it is a great idea, as having the card in front of them, means people are more likely to re-new. Have you thought of entering into a direct debit arrangement for monthly instalments, so that it is not such a drain for you financially, as paying in a lump sum?

My membership card turned up in the mail but...it was the wrong one (Youth 11, instead of Youth 18).

Got my members hat, but nothing else yet. Not a big deal as of yet. The members hat is really nice, much better quality that previous years. The only think I don't like about it, it doesn't say member on it that I can see.
