Was just on SEN drafted in 2010, played mainly Casey seconds, I don't remember him at all. Talked about playing college football (grid iron) as a punter in front of 110,000 fans regularly. Does that mean US colleges have stadiums the size of the MCG? Doesn't seem credible.

There are at least 5 US college stadiums with 100,000+ capacity. There are 30 or 40 with capacity over 70,000.

Bigger. I think it's called the Coliseum regularly gets 110k + with standing only.

A lot of the big colleges like Texas, Alabama, Georgia, USC are all 80+

For most Americans their local team is a college team. They might also follow a college team or teams that they or a family member attended. Its far more accessible than NFL generally.
