Can’t plan for it hitting the foot like that. Thought Peterson had recovered then realised it had squirmed out again... sigh

Both D's playing very well ... turnovers,  fumbles could decide this game.  Atlanta's running game not there and the Rams need to use Gurley more.

If we don’t put a drive together on this next series we won’t win, this is how we went vs a few teams this year where we didn’t get going in the first quarter and floundered the rest of the game and it looks mightily similar to that early Seattle game.

Falcons are starting to move it a little, we have missed Ryan a few times now and he is making his throws, starting to look comfortable which worries the hell outta me.

Wow 2 muffed returns in the first ... We need a TD here, got to take full advantage of thess turnovers

Cooper looked like he had no idea what to do when fielding that punt then. Normally he picks a line and goes, he looked like a deer in headlights there.

Thank god for Donald and Brockers.

Ryan has done well to hang on to the ball - they've come at him hard.

Smith goes now. Question for me is what sort of pressure now goes onto Andy Reid. They go on these great runs, then slumps way too often.

This field is horrible. Both sides slipping everywhere

I saw Freeman early in the game take off to the sideline, pushed out, and a couple of metres over the line is a slab  of concrete that he slipped A over T on. It boggles the mind.

Atlanta held on to the ball for 26 plays in that 3rd quarter ... playoff experience at work.

Gurley g3ts us going, That sack cost us a shot at the end zone, got the game back to single score. Need to force a turn over or a quick out, cant let them take it up field and use clock.

So my thoughts on today’s game.

Pretty much everything that worried m happened.

Atlantas secondary were huge, the open field tackling was excellent.

Ryan was pretty good without being great. Played a little safe at times. But when the clutch plays were needed the good players stepped up. Ryan, Julio, Sanu.

to my Rams, Donald was amazing, Brockers until injured was also very good. Really hurt losing him.

Gurley was decent, but dropped so many catches. Woods good, same as Kupp. O line decent.

Goff was pretty good in that he didn’t panic, hasn’t done stupid things and I think the experience today will set him up for next year.

McVay I think today was average. Hardly called screens and did not run Gurley enough. He needs to learn from today and from all losses he has so far.

Special teams are usually a strength but they cost us the first 10 points and realistically the game. Cooper has been amazing all year but terrible today and that’s being nice.

Falcons can go to the championship game, Philly would not want the Falcons.

Good year overall for the Rams, disappointing night.

good luck JV7.

Hard luck Gorg... You are right though, have to be happy with the improvements made in year 1 under McVay,  the future is bright. I think the experience helped the Falcons & like Macca said they controlled TOP. Quinn gets the D playing right at the right time of year again. A foles lead Philly next opens it up a bit

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
