Chris Knights

He's definitely good enough. Right position, right age, right skill set. Right price?

Why is that Prof?

Behaviour related or you don't think he's good enough?

Yes to both.

Also, don't forget Chris is VERY INJURY PRONE

Chris knights is a silky smooth player and someone we could definitely use with on our list. He has an elite left foot, can play forward and midfield and is a mature body.

We don't have many elite kicks in our team remember and Knights although injury prone it seems, could play a valuable role in our side.

I would love to have him.

Knights is a very good player but silky smooth and elite left foot is plain wrong.

He's field kicking is pretty poor and was taken out of the midfield rotation because of it.

He reinvented himself as a HF and was sensational with his 55m bomb goals. Kicking it long does not constitute silky kick. If you do, Moloney and Jones have silky footskills.

V injury prone but still a good player. Will obv take him but not worth it considering his asking price.

Will re-sign with Adelaide by the end of the week.

Turned down better money from Richmond, Essendon and St Kilda.

That's an interesting one. You'd think they'd have to jettison some players in order to make space.

Maybe the room they had in the cap came from Luke Ball's contract?

... I'm not sure if they still have to pay Lovett his entire salary or not either.

But you're right .. it's interesting.

Yeah, wondered about that too.

Knights may be locked up, but I still get the impression the crows will be mighty active come trade week. Neil Craig is in the hot seat and he knows it.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
