Shultz beats Warnock 1 on 1 and lines up for certain goal, kicks it. We are all over them in general play and inside 50 yet are only 4 points up now.

Jurrah gets it

Port 1.0.6

Melbourne 2.4.16

PA definitely have the wind though. Dermott also says that going to Port's end is a little easier as there is some sort of slope downwards.

Jurrah gets a HTB free kick. Wakelin says we're livelier and Port's crap.

Jurrah nails it!

serious question here.... but why do players go straight to the bench after a goal?

Good pressure from LJ finishes it with a goal

Cale Morton marks 15 metres out on a slight ankle.

Brett Ebert has done a calf/achilles or something.

Morton hits the post, terrible miss.

Warnock almost had his head 'pop off'.. will be an interesting one for the tribunal.... definately looked BAD but unsure of his view on the whole situation... Morton sprays it from inside 50 no discernable angle. Blast! Port 7 Melb 17 9.10 remaining in the first

Morton needs a big game today. Hasn't had the greatest 2010, to put it quite nicely.

52 disposals to 34 in our favour, 8 inside 50s to 5 in our favour as well.

Another goal to Port

Port 2.1.13

Melbourne 2.5.17

Scully sloppy handball results in turnover, goal mouth scramble and port goal...

Because they've probably spent the previous 2 mins trying to find a break in play to run off so that they keep to their set rotations.

It's not ideal to have a player trying to make an interchange whilst the team is makig a F50 entry and as a result no one is there to kick it to (or there is one less to kick it to, or crumb).

Pearce goals, they're in front

Port 3.1.19

Melbourne 2.5.17

Ports forward line is providing no major problems for us, problem is ours isnt functioning that well either. This game is going end to end with no forward making an impact.

Port just kicked a goal, twas Pierce. Lets hope this doesnt ignite them. 3mins left in the first, port 19 melb 17

Lack of communication costly there on the wing, resulting in that goal to Pearce.

13 touches to Cam Bruce. If he's signed with GC it's a big loss

They're using the wind to kick over the top, rather than to a lead up forward. But we're turning it over a lot which is giving them pretty easy inside 50s.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
