Hawks infighting

Featured Replies

I have it on good authority that the Coach and the President do not get on and that Kennett's abrasive style has damaged some relations within the Club. He has overseen a period of turnaround and success but there would many who cant wait until his gone.

Can confirm this

Kennett has always had the reputaion of a its my way or the highway style of leadership

Like him or loathe him he has an uncanny ability to get things done but how he achieves it is what has many noses out of joint

Spin is a politcal necessity and he brings it to the Hawthorn Football Club in spades

Just look at the ammount of memberships the Hawks have in the Kennett era

Now look a little closer to see how easy it is to improve the figures with Junior memberships

The Haks have the largest junior membership percentage of any club by miles

Thats the Jeff way of spin and he is very very good at it

Taught them a listen?

Are you a kiwi?

Didn't you see them waiting to hear our club song before they left the Arena. :)

Its hardly a secret!

Maybe if they lose, Kennett is gone! The players will finally be happy..

It's actually quite sad if that's our mind-set. Especially in formulating a win :/

Would love to see a Demon win cause Kennet a meltdown .

He's continually kicked us since he's been president .

Go Demons , Unleash hell !

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
