Show up in your colours

I like most are disappointed in todays game but with a young side we have to expect this every now and then. The starts are a worry however....

Anyways its time to put the red and blue back on for Queens Bday as I like most supporters realise the importance of this game from a commercial point of view.

Crowd numbers have been up this year so hope everyone gets along.

So show your colours and passion and make sure we get 75, 000 at the G Monday.

Bring it on, at least this week the start should be better

Lets pump those ferals and show the world we hate the snow and we love our ground, the MCG

I can't imagine a crowd higher than 65k. Even that is pushing it. Probably 60k AT THE MOST I reckon.

GOT TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE TURNS UP SO WE KEEP THIS GAME

GET THERE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!

With good weather, more than 60... 75000 I reckon.

:D

60 point loss at a minimum :(

Show some faith with a young team, where a sneaky chance to win and at the same time a good chance to get a decent beating.

I'm coming people! - all the way from the polar cap of Australia - Canberra!

I'm bringing 4 others.

Come on the Dees.

i will be there from Brisbane turn up people

60 point loss at a minimum :(

Are you laying bets on this? If so i'm in!

I will be there along with a bus load of mixed supporters!

If the weather holds out i am Predicting 67,759 people.

We had 50,000 yesterday, so we should have 65,000 next week, especially if the weather holds up.

I'm really looking forward to next week. I'll be in Sydney on the weekend but I'm flying back in the morning in time for the game. If Tiger Airways stuffs me around and delays my flight I'm gonna turn into one of those psycho passengers you see on TV :)

Ive got neutral people coming, get there everyone

Good chance to see all our draft picks and the boys will be fired up for a good start

Im coming from Sydney for the weekend :)

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
