A Call to Arms... and Legs

I have been coming to Demonland for approx 10 months. I have read most opinions of members here, Some good healthy debates, some I agreed with, some not.But in general its been great to read what others have to say. So I decided

recently to register.

What I havent seen is anyone talking up getting bums on seats. There is a thread to meet at tower 2 @ the "G".

We wonder why we get bumped off the "G" We just dont get

a big enough crowd to our games. We will, when we string a heap of wins together. But in the meantime, our young team needs a heap of support.Playing in front of a decent amount

of supporters,we spur them on,maybe we can shout down the other teams that have larger support. I am just as guilty

as anyone, I'll go... nah wont go. This year I'm making a bigger effort to get there. As Stynes requested, he wants to see more supporters at our games. Count me in,and anyone

I know,I;ll be in there ear.

One cannot always go, especially if you have to work.

Then again, if you buy a membership, seems strange not to use it.

Thats my excuse too, when I have a weekend to myself, Its been I'm going, then for whatever reason I'm not going.

Cold wet, cant be bothered driving there. This year, I'll

be making more of an effort & my membership. May even take the dog, Then they can say every man, woman, and dog is here :)

Wouldn't miss it for anything. Will be leaving Canberra at 4:30am to drive down with a couple of fellow Demon members. Can't wait!!

My stupid frigging 1's footy coach has scheduled a practice match for the 24th. I coach the 2nds and I will still be at the G for kick off. Somethings are more important!

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
