Thanks for that wrap kid_random. Good to get an opposition supporters opinion on things such as Casey and our team. Cheers.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out. ;)

Only kidding! We hope you post again.

That is pretty funny Dappa though I know where you are coming from.

I would be spewing if we wasted our number 2 pick on a bloke who ran around on his hands and knees with his eyes shut.

we have been waiting years for such a player, a spine and functional eyelids can only be gotten in the top 2 of the draft

Telling signs of excellent peripheral vision.

Without wanting to delve too much into his private life, it had to do with a family bereavement.

Thanks, hope it's all worked out for Luke

## Oh yes, Trengove. No hyperbole, no hubris, etc. Make no mistake, this guy is the best player at the football club. He's the best midfielder I've seen since Flower - I'm happy to go early. For some of the older supporters - he's better than a young Gerard Healy.

I wonder if there were any like me who couldn't make up their minds between Morabito and Trengove after the Carnival (although I favoured Morabito). Lucky Jack played well in SA although to be honest the footy recruiting blokes see these blokes lots and lots of times whereas we are just very amateur observers.

I for one was disappointed when we took Frawley instead of Sellar in 2006 ND but what a relief. Thanks Craig.

After the carnival I had Trengove firmly at 2, but Morabito was an enigma.

He still has the physical tools to be the best player from this draft, just like another freo player who famously went at number 4...

:)

Too lazy to read through the 6 pages, was there a confirmed crowd estimate? I thought as much as 4k by the end of the game. Great turn out

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
