Rumoured Richo will announce his retirement tomorrow 13 th Nov 09. Ahhh what a shame! It just gets better and better for this pack of would bees.

Always had a soft spot for Richo. He was entertaining, one way or another.

I get the feeling Jack Watts will be a similar athlete and in much the same way win the respect and adulation of other supporters. They both have that humbleness and boy next door looks.

Great career, always entertaining to watch, you just never knew what was going to happen next

Without cracking the sooks though I hope...

He was so exciting to watch when on. The maligned Cam Bruce was his main opponent for a numbers of years for us and handled himself well as Richo smashed us most times we played the Tigs

Richo was one of my favorite non-MFC players. Hated him when he played us though, he always smashed us...

Big Al ("Sideshow Bob") Nicholson beat Richo once. Other than that , he used to beat us off his own boot.

Well played Richo

As a bit of a Richo, i'll say; disliker, i do have respect for this bloke. a) because he's from Tassie, and B) He is a good footballer despite massively cracking the sads when things didn't go his way. I have respect because he always tried his heart out. Gave everything he could.

Should have won the Brownlow a couple of years ago.

Except Watts can kick! Now just think about that....

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
