Melbourne midfield Vs Richmond midfield

Featured Replies

Firstly, what's to stop Richmond picking up Ball at pick 19 in the ND?? I realise they now have a youth policy but if they're desperate for Ball (and he nominates for the ND) they should select him at pick 19.

How would people have felt about exchanging PSD 1 (potentially Luke Ball) with Richmond for Pick 19, I wonder?

Maybe not much of a selling point, but...

Cousins, Deledio, Foley, Cotchin.

v

Moloney, Jones, Sylvia, ?

He would definitely start in Melbourne's midfield in 2010 IMO. He might in Richmond's.

First of all, I'd have Ball in the team before Foley. But that doesn't matter, because I'm yet to see a line up that has 4 midfielders in it. Come on HT, you seriously think Richmond would take just Cousins, Cotchin, Deledio and Foley into a match?

Ball makes their team easily. Easily.

I'm certain you can't trade PSD picks.

I'd have Ball in before Foley too. I agree that Ball would make their team easily. My point is, he would make our teams midfield "more" easily. At the present time our midfield isn't much chop.

This talk of Richmonds midfield being better than our at the moment is astounding. Any of you actually seen Richmonds midfield in action?

Deez mid > Rich mid

I think atm Richmonds mid on paper are better then our mids however richmonds mids dont have a lot of intencity at times i.e dont tackle. It's a tough one but Trengrove and Scully obviously gives our mid more potential going foward

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
