Do we deserve a priority pick?

Lets not beat around the bush. With our list management and game day tactics our coaching staff are trying to manipulate results as they are scared to win more than 4 games. I think without all this we could prob end up on 8 wins. We ARE good enough to do that. 8 wins to me = a team improving, not a team in need of 2 top picks.

WE HAVE LOST 51 GAMES SINCE 2007.

And, no-one deserves a PP. They need it, and the competition needs them to have it.

We are just trying to abide by the system...

In the First 14 Rounds we won one game. That is our true Form when every Team is really Cranking it up.

Don't count Dead Rubbers in the same breath please.

We deserve High Draft Picks. Wet Coke don't.

You're kidding.

There are four games left and one of those is against St. Kilda and another versus Carlton.

Even if we won versus Richmond we'd need to beat both those sides.

If you think we could have beaten Sydney then you'd need to make a convincing case for why we're favourites versus Carlton.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
