Prime Time Draft Bid

Featured Replies

Its not on 'prime-time', it will be starting at 6:30pm. The pubs cant even cash in on it at that time.

No doubt it will be relegated to an even worse slot next year citing lack of interest.

Moronic.

I could not see it being a big pub event as you actually need to hear what they are saying.

Tonights 6:30pm viewing on FoxSports is

FoxSports1 The Nascar Truck Series

FoxSports2 NRL Tactics (a repeat of the NRLs version of On The Couch)

FoxSports3 A 30 minute package of English Football league highlights.

None of them are exactly ratings cashcows. Without knowing what FoxSports are paying for the rights it would be cheap to broadcast and considering they have 3 FoxSports channels will do well for them.

NB: Yes Redleg you can hold my hand but I cannot guarantee my reaction if Butcher is called at pick 3

Trengove is looking more and more like an elite midfielder of the future and with Scully could form the basis of a potent midfield. I can't see us passing this up as elite midfielders are the engine room of a successful team.

Key forwards can be found later in the draft as they often take some time to develop and are not always the ones firing at TAC cup level. I think pick 18 will give us a shot at a fair chance for a key forward. Also the PSD pick may provide one either by trading or getting one to stand out from another club.

Want to watch it but when Butcher goes at 4or 8 or what ever then we knwo that we have scully trengrove, if trengrove goes at 3 we know we have butcher, less suspense for us.

Another utterly pathetic idea by the r-tards at the AFL, can Vlad and Wankerson ever come up with anything decent other than ruining the game?

Televise yes!

Countdown........ wankers!

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
