Two deals to be done Thursday or Friday

You are a fool.

Reel 'em in Y_M.

Another big haul. Whats the market price for flathead down at Port Melbourne these days?

I swear, if you took this thread in isolation you'd genuinely believe there was no hope for mankind.

personally I take offence to anyone who is systematically ruining sites like this by clogging them up with rubbish and making them not worth reading

Isn't McIntosh in the same boat though? I heard he just signed a 3 year deal.

As for Davey. I thought about how good it would be to have pick 4, but then I thought how scary it would be seeing Davey tear it up at Port, being on the other end of his magic.

Do you mean like some teams when they fronted against Essendon & Alwyn Davey, wasn't he up for trade for a little while recently?

Aaron is less value than Andrew Lovett.

Settle down guys, thought we are all meant to be Melbourne supporters together.

Think things have got marginally out of hand. Stop take a deep breath and lets all move on.

Seriously, guys. Speak English, would you. It's one of the things that used to make this site great.

Just speaking to an MFC employee who happens to be a family friend.

Absolutely locked in that we will be sending Aaron Davey and pick 19 to Port Adelaide in exchange for pick 4 and Greg Bentley.

The other deal that will happen is minor but a bit of a surprise and that is Michael Newton going to the Bulldogs for their 3rd round pick.

I'm still getting over the 1st 2 bits - 'family' & 'friend'.

Just joking YM. I hope just a bit of what you've said comes true. It'll be sensational, not because of the playersor picks but because it's something you said.

Frankly I do enjoy Y_M's posts, because they expose the numerous cabbages who frequent this site.

If you really are precious enough to 'take offense' from Y_M's material, then I recommend you stop feeding the beast.

Agreed.

After reading this thread I've decided that it's a candidate for the absolute lock and I've locked it up. Put simply, it's become a personal slanging match that really doesn't serve the interests of the site and the fans who visit here.

If either of the predictions made in the first post by Y_M comes to fruition, I'll unlock it and leave it open to everyone to give him the congratulatory slaps on the back for some excellent detective work.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
