''No matter what ever happens, We will always be Red and Blue''

Fantastic clubman and was a sad sight to see the two champions lifted on shoulders together!

Thanks for everything guys and good luck in the future!

good that neitz and febey were also there to congradulate them, also think i saw nathan brown there as well

fine servents of the mfc and will be missed

A bit sad when a player who basically got given the ass is the only one to score over 100 supercoach points in his last ever game . . .

They were good words and genuinely spoken too. I believe that he will always follow our club and hopefully we will reap rewards from father/son one day if they still have that then.

well done and thanks for everything Whitey, Ooooooze and Benny

Our only player to score over 100 supercoach points was Whelan, I didn't know he had announced his retirement

Maybe I'm thinking of DT. Well, whatever they have on the AFL website he was the only one over 100

I hate retirements. I always feel sad - we will miss them all.

Yeah doggy was there, great to see all those guys there...the end of that late 90's group fostered by daniher...ahh the memories :)

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
