  2. here's the full restricted and unrestricted list: https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-free-agents-2018-full-list-of-restricted-and-unrestricted-free-agents-revealed/news-story/a8b301c82a07505f2e59fb420687de26 with the exception of sloane, gaff and lynch, i think it's unlikely you'd prise the restricted free agents away from their clubs, so instead in terms of bringing free agents in you look to the unrestricted list, and the ones i'd be keen on would be, in order: luke dahlhaus tom liberatore nick smith obviously key to retain t mac and jetta
  3. It seems to me as supporters we are very quick to dismiss players with poor skills. Sure, turnovers kill us and Nicholson, McDonald and Grimes are some of the worst turnover kings. The question is: can kicking be improved in AFL players? By the time a player is drafted, if he isn't a good kick, can he ever become one? (For the purpose of this thread, a good kick is someone who reliably hits a target.) If you believe kicking can be improved, can you please provide some examples. I can't think of anyone who's been converted from a poor kick into a reliable one.
  4. If ever you wanted an example in our club of a footballer viewed as a striking example of the qualities required to be professional, look no further than Tom McDonald. Have a read of this and tell me you didn't bristle with a tad of subdued excitement..: http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7415/newsid/151030/default.aspx
