Just wanted to ask people's opinions on who will win this year's Keith "Bluey" Truscott Trophy for 2022? There's an article about it found here: https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1229898 Personally, I think it will be either Clayton Oliver or Christian Petracca with Steven May as a dark horse to win it. I definitely think it will be pretty close this year! My top 5 for the Demons Best & Fairest would be: 1) Clayton Oliver 2) Christian Petracca 3) Steven May 4) Max Gawn 5) Jack Viney Anyway, please let me know who you think will be your top 5 in the Melbourne Demons Best & Fairest for 2022 ok?

Criteria was " They have to be under 25 right now" and " it is based on what they have produced this year and in recent seasons, not what they might produce in the future." How Jack Viney doesn't make this list I can only think is an oversight. My view is that he sits quite comfortably top five, if not top three. Whilst Jack hasn't yet again reached his pulsating best again in 2018, I've actually been impressed with the level of output and impact he has made in his handful of games to date off the back of an interrupted, injury plagued preseason. Think he is building nicely and full expect him explode in comming weeks. ...come on Jack - tear the Pies a new one!

Why is Todd Viney our General Manager of Player Development and Strategy? How does it make sense to put him in charge of draft selections when the biggest decision to make this year will be if and when to draft his son? It is liking asking a surgeon to operate on his or her own child. We should already have appointed someone else to this role, even on a temporary basis. It is not fair on Todd. It is not fair on Jack. Most importantly, it is not fair on the club.
