Sydney supporters who will be back home for dinner after the game.

I went down from Sydney to see the game on sunday. It takes about 4 hours so not exactly home for dinner, but close enough to after. I would not mind going again, had good seats

Whether it's true or not is irrelevent. If their players buy into it then it becomes a factor. Clearly they do. Reminds me a bit of the "Queenslander" calls that float around Lang Park up here every origin game. The coaches, past players and QLD media have conjured up this myth that QLD care more than NSW about winning the origin series each year. The QLD players clearly buy into it and it seems even the NSW players become believers. They've won so many games they had no right to and the myth perpetuates.

Poor umpiring- I agree that i dont even know what those 1st free kicks where for.

It was like the umpiring a few weeks ago at Pennant Hills, especially by AFL umpire Matthew James. Although PH lost by 5 points it was disgraceful.

I think in the 2nd Quarter a kick in was taken by wheatly went straight to a sydney player

Right, I'm back and had a good weekend despite Barry Hall's rough stuff and Warnock's inability to run with a sloth. Some observations.

1. I thought the crowd was good. Well behaved and good in number. Very happy for us to go there again.

Travis has been replaced by a draftee who's payment is in the order of $50,000 per annum. When you add the $200,000 we are paying for Travis the total payment to have that player on the books is $250,000. Travis was on significantly more than this so the club has saved money.

I'll let the auditors argue over the accounting treatment, it means diddly squat. If the profit goes down by $200,000 this year it will go up by $200,000 next year. Do you really care?
