Well done Cam Bruce on 150 games, and i hope you play well on the day and the rest of the boys can lift around you

As our team song says " every heart beats true for the red and blue"
So my heart keeps on beating for the red and the blue

My best wishes to Nick Stevens on the operation and hope he makes a full recovery from this injury
-
And now West Coast want to sue over the affair
-
Our night is well along, and our day is drawing near.
Hopefully soon the dark will go away and we have our glory

I think that despite the heated debate, we've remained fairly sensible here on Demonland, which is a credit to everyone who posts here.
Yep that is right, i have tried to keep within the demonland code of conduct. And it is only by moderators like yourself Jaded and the admins that have keep this site clean from too many heated debates. Like when a topic is starting to get out of control, the mods or admins decide to close the topic. That is very good, prevents unneeded abuse. This is why i like demonland.
:) Keep up the good work
Must be no control on other sites, no wonder he is frustrated

What you said is perfect for me also living in Sydney. Sport report we only get scores, but no action except if it happens to be the swans playing. Very little news on melbourne in the papers, and the only news on AFL is if you buy a copy of inside football.
So i appreciate demonland, this keeps me up to date on the news happening with the club, both good and currently the bad and getting to know a few people, eg. QueenC, DemonStorm, Jaded etc.
I wonder, is the game being moved from the SCG to Telstra Stadium due to lighting?
-
fair crack peoples.... the AFL is too busy buying up 'property ' on the Gold Coast..or is that only a ruse...or a roos ??
Yep it seems that what, buying a home for the roos to run around on.
Tribunal you are too soft- get more tough or else the game will disentergrate into a farce

What do you mean - support them? I turn up every bloody game, pay my membership every year, barrack with everything I've got, watch the replay to make sure I've seen the game when not suffused with anger, needle opposition supporters, and all I ask is that every player give everything that they have every minute of every game. My money goes towards their massive salaries, and I expect 100% effort - no more, no less.
Exactly, totally agree with your sentiments astrodee
-
And it will be the only time we will get major news on the dees while they are in sydney.
As you know QueenC we only get a very little snipet of news, and most of the AFL news is on sydney
-
Thanks for the report.
In Sydney it is so hard for me to see how Sandy is going unless I buy a copy of Inside Football.
-
So did I. My mum used to feel so sorry for me that she (as a devout Collingwood supporter) ended up barracking for Melbourne to win just so she didn't have to listen to me carry on after each game. These days she's a Collingwood AND Melbourne supporter.
Ok
When its Melbourne v Collingwood-- who does she support? or does she have one foot in each camp, or sit on the fence?
Out of my family- im the only one that supports the dees and afl in general
-
Wasn't smartarse...offered thoughts on a few strategies to the panel (& Neale)..basically had something to offer the listener whereas the rev never does.
Yeah, I agree with you. His suggestions sounded pretty good for our team.
But ND did not even want to hear, he shut off completely and dismissed his suggestions.
That was disappointing

These things have a habit of hurting short term but strengthening long term, by way of getting games into the up'n'comers. Next week I would hope for the inclusions of Sylvia to play a forward role with Dunny & Pickett also returning to stiffen our resolve.
I have never believed that we're ready for a flag in '07, but to make top 4 or 5.
But '08 has always been the year I think suits our list the most, then '10/'11.
Ver fair analyis deeviator.

at least one gives a chance: The president of the filth, collingwood Ed Mcquire tips us to beat geelong this week. Found that very suprising as many expert tippers have given us no chance to win this week
-
I still give us a chancem but we need to pick up our game and get moving
Hopefully we can 'wipe the egg of the faces'
-
Yep that win in WA in '98 was magnificent, and showed the value of taking risks. That was the rev's 1st year, and he wasn't as scared. His contract wasn't up that year.
Totally agree
-
was 9.25 before the saints game, and even though it only early in the season, my anticpation level is 4 and if we lose it will be nearlly 0-- 0.98
So my advice to the team is please lift and win
-
I recorded the footy last night, and i am watching the tape
that was annoying-- truly defelected answering the questions asked by sam and the panel.
Go suggestions given by Nathan Brown on what to do in order to beat geelong
-
ND Time nearly has run out
it is 11:53 pm
-
WJ, Nice report, although a bit late
Like your comparison to our team to Sydney transport. Both unreliable, late and only perform when someone major is watching.
Keep up the good work
-
The last 2 rounds are not a great sign, but I'm going to hold off judging him for now.
Yeah same, i am prepared to wait and then see what happens
-
Who cares. If it was signalled goal, it a goal. Ill take it
If that was counted as a behind then we would has lost by between 23 and 29 pts instead of 22
