I'm not giving up yet. I decide whether our season is officially finished or not after the Queens Birthday match against the filth and also after we play the tigers, which is only a few weeks away.
-
the difference...Johnno kicks a goal to put them in front he races into the backline calling everyone with him...
And then when i was watching on tv, when johnno kicked that goal, they showed the melbourne coaches box, and danners pounded his fist on the table in frustration. It was your fault we did not flood
-
He played very well, finally showing some of the potential that he has
I hope he plays more games and gets more comfortable playing for the MFC
-
I agree with all your sentiments
I do miss suburban footy- even though i never lived in melbourne
-
Thanks for the laughs guys
For what its worth my 2 cents worth: Nick Riewolt and Paris Hiliton: Create the crappy ultimate pretty boy, everyone would want to smash him especially our guys.
Ps. Congratulations to Jeff White on the birth of his son
-
In fact they'd probably get less in fines for players and coaches ragging on the umps
And that they would not like
-
The rotten bastard deserved a spray! The MFC club should be fining the ump!
Exactly i agree with you, he was giving him a spray because he cost us the game
Isnt that what we would do if we were playing and the umpire gave us that crap decision
-
Well done Lizzie for raising some very fine football playing sons, and raising them on your own
You have deserved this award for the player's mother of the year
And good on Aaron and Alwyn for loving their mum so much they would recommend this to her
-
is that a bold prediction or the beauty of hindsight dfjezza?
Thanks for noticing
Not a bold prediction or hindsight,
but it is just what i felt, but i think now brock will be back against the kangas as some have said
-
It's the fact that Bryon Pickett was involved, which is creating headlines.
Totally agree Jaded
When i saw it on ten sport on sunday, to me it was a fair tackle, nothing wrong with it, but of course i dont like to see injuries, but when a tackle needs to be made it needs to be made. And pickett was there to make the tackle
-
I would love to see these blokes come up and play this weekend aganist the dogs, but i think Brock will not be risked, and will be brought back aganist the weagles

they aren't. i was being a bit sarcastic. before the terrorists struck the world in the name of islam no one looked twice at a muslim. now there is focus on them all the time. your average run of the mill muslim is no different from your christian or your atheiest. the corrupt side of things is the same no matter what religion it is. in islam the popular opinion is 'terrorist' for catholicism its the 'pedophile priest'. who cares what religion he is. my point is that no one would have cared before 9/11 we live in a different world now though.
I totally agree with your post there Deanox. These grievences with muslims are getting to much. If a muslim plays well in footy good on him, if it is a catholic good on him, etc. Focus should be on the footy they play, not their religion

Fly down!!
Only joking here- give me the money and i will come down

The whole page on wikipedia on Melbourne is very funny
At least they get some things right
-
This is to all Melbournefc fans who are able to go to our home matches,
GET TO THE GAME ON SUNDAY AND SUPPORT OUR BOYS THROUGH THESE TOUGH TIMES.
Don't be a slacker and sit at home and [censored] about the team, come to the G on sunday and cheer them on and keep our heads held high and show our opposition that we are strong and passionate supporters who will stick we the team through any situation.
Very nice sentiments
- now you make me wish i could be there at the game, but i cant cause i live interstate
-
Thanks for the report
Nice to see the boys from Sandy playing well
-
At least it was a close battle for goal of the week- only 6% difference
-
Thanks for sharing your enthusium MFC4Life
Sounds pretty feasible
But one thing i have to say is that our horror start to the year may come back to bite us
-
My guess would be between 16,500 and 17,000
-
I dont know
Defnitely some kids should be given an opportunity. Defnitely frawley when he comes back from injury
-
That is some crazy correlation you found there.
I don't see how supporters affect the team's ability to kick, run, chase, man-up, handball etc etc...
We are also not responsible for the injury curse that has his the club.
Absoultely agree Jaded- i cant see myself affecting the team. Its up to the players to play on the day and we are the ride the train with them
-
I wish i could come on sunday and support the boys- but as being an interstate supporter i cant go, even though i have a desire to visit melbourne. But i support the boys any time i can. Although i could not go to the game last saturday due to not being very well, i at least listened and watched the game on TV.
-
Disappointed of course with losing our 5th straight game, but there some some positives, as some of you have mentioned like:
* Ricky playing a great debut game
* We tried hard to fight our way back in the game
-
Ricky certainly played very well in a losing team. Since i was unable to go to the game, i was listening on the radio, he certainly has the potential to be our next superstar in the red and the blue
where was the flood?

I agree with you there Ash, certainly players should be more aware of what is going on around them, especially after an important goal is kicked to put a team in front
