ADELAIDE defender Jake Lever has requested a trade to a Victorian club. Crows head of football Brett Burton said the club was extremely disappointed in Lever's decision and would consider all its options. Lever has reportedly told Channel Seven that he wants to join Melbourne, confirming months of speculation.

Problem with going after Lever is what we would have top him. Well not so much what we pay him but what we would then have to pay a large number of current player. You can't have lewis asking player to ask for less and then pay someone else overs.
