Apologies I’ve just finished a massive week so have not read as much as I normally would have. Petracca comes across as an intelligent & articulate operator. He would have been fully aware of the consequences of his actions. There’s more at play here.

I don’t think it’s got anything to do with his injury. I would have thought a combination of the game plan along with players not demonstrating the required level of professionalism due to other factors.

What if he already has and nothing has happened?

Don’t think anyone has overreacted. Our season is done, what harm comes from playing him? It’s hardly Watts on QB all over again.

What purpose is served by not playing them? Jefferson playing would give him a taste for it, he’d get a feel for the pace of the game or in our case lack off.

Fwds need to be in front.

I’m not a fan of the Pies either but I wish we could bring pressure like they do and played a faster attacking brand of footy. They don’t seem to hang their hats on injuries like we do either.

Agree in part but it’s also part frustration. We have a congested fwd line and our delivery is poor.

The way we move the ball, our fwd line and the way we deliver the ball inside fwd 50. We have some class fwds but we make it so hard for them.

Surely we’re going to try and poach Hawthorns strength and conditioning coach?

For all those defending Goodwin and throwing up injuries, lack of fitness & those that still cite losing Brayshaw as a reason for our performances this year. What has any of that got to do with the way we deliver the ball inside fwd 50? Our two finals losses last year we had more shots on goal and dominated the inside 50’s but we continue to either kick deep into the pockets, bomb it in long or have the most congested fwd line. We are so predictable and everyone knows it. You can change the assistants as much as you want, end of the day it’s Goodwin’d call. Fritsch & Kosi are class, if they played for other clubs they would be dominating games every other week. If Goodwin is to stay we need to change parts of our game.
