  1. Was a long weekend and a tough week after that performance against the Cats…. Looking at our remaining games we can and should win all of them but that’s not what I’m looking for. I’m more interested to see the make up of the team and how we play. What happened between playing the Pies and the Cats? We can win the flag this year but as we know we are our own worst enemy. Can we try Bowey as a small fwd?
  2. I honestly hope this is not the case, one of them yes but not both. If we kicked straight against Collingwood we win by 5-6 goals, neither Brown or TMac played in that game. I do hope BBB can regain some of his best form. We need to remain mobile. But as always it comes to down to our delivery.
  3. Most games at Kardinia Park in the AFL era (1990-2023) Melb 25 Bris 24 WCE 24 Adel 23 WB 23 NM 22 Syd 22 Freo 20 StK 19 Port 16 Rich 15 Haw 9 GC 7 GWS 7 Carl 6 Ess 5 Fitz 4 Coll 3 Copied of a Demon FB page, I’m assuming it’s correct.
  4. Collingwood and Port? I must be wars differently game.
  5. It took me 3 days to be able to open DL back up. I was livid on Thursday night turning the game off after Rohans goal in the 4th.
  6. I know I’ve said this before…. 19 and 20 teams anyone?
  7. No excuses tonight. Not the weather. Not the ground. Nothing.
  8. Have the players established it’s raining yet.
  9. We need to move the ball like we did against the Pies.
  10. Petty, we’ve experimented with different set ups but ultimately 2 talls plus Lever works for reasons already discussed on here, and as good as Thommo was two weeks ago, Petty is a gun. I like the look of the fwd line as inexperienced as our two keys talls are (having Grundy / Gawn rotate through the fwd line allows us to do this). There’s a feeling of youth and excitement about it but ultimately what I like is we’re back to being mobile again. We have a great mix of players with Chandler taking his chances and Kosi who is well over due for a big one. Then there’s Fritsch who is possibly one of the most underrated players in the game. (I base this on his inability to get picked in an AA team, a team that I keep telling myself each year I care less about). Out of all of our learnings the quick mobile fwd line is the biggest so far.
  11. Bloody freezing here in Sydney. Will be watching from a warm bed.
  12. Can’t argue with that at all, I was just looking back through the games, all be it at home bad kicking cost them victory last time they met. Will be a cracking game to watch. Crows have some gun fwds and mids, not sure how their defence will hold up though.
  13. I’ve tipped Collingwood but I think the Crows will fancy themselves here.
