  1. He nailed Watts in the back of the head when Watts was on the ground face down. That could have caused some serious damage yet Richmond and the media in the week that followed said it was out of character and everyone believed it and moved on, except us.

This season, our acts are classed as undisciplined and thuggish.

I can't stand Rance and I absolutely loved it when Viney flipped him on his backside after going in to bat for Wattsy.

Lewis behind the ball was massive! His leadership and setting the boys up reminded me of Luke hodge.

Without him I worry port may have stolen that game.

I also though trengove was solid, looked very composed with the ball.

Hogan found a bit of form.

    Spot on Abe!

I sat behind the Punt Rd goals and that is exactly what I saw from Lewis.

Leadership at its finest in the last quarter, hence the reason the game was played in our front half for the majority.

I'll be teeing off at 9am them it's home for the game then off to a poker tournament.

Wife is worried about my alcohol consumption, don't know why only have to keep count till half time, after that I won't remember a thing, satdys for the boys.

Also one final thing GO DEES

With 3 Jacks coming in you would go a long way to winning.

Gawn and Jack in 60 secs.

one question near the end is very frustrating.

Which do you prefer Jack Basketball or Football.       BASKETBALL

Jack we don't want that answer!

I'm more upset he picked Naitanui over himself!

Ryder had his ankle strapped after fulltime last week. looks like hell get up. Max will have his work cut out.

Yes, big task for Max. We know T.Mac has great endurance, is there a possibility he spends more time in the ruck and runs with Ryder around the ground?

Viney will be playing in pain, Tyson, Salem and Watts are coming off injury and Trengove hasn't played for 12 months.

I'm happy with the inclusions but we are facing an in-form Port Adelaide who have almost no injuries.

Port Adelaide injury list as of Tuesday.

    Ryder - Test.

    Broadbent - Test.

    As of today.

    Nil, assuming Ryder plays.

I'd like to be a bookmaker betting on the ins and outs at Melbourne based on D'landers rumours.

    Ins Trenners        Out   Vince. susp

          Watts                      Pedo drop in form

Viney                      Kent  because I was stupid

Salem                    Smith not up to it yet

          Tyson                     Garlett Funeral

Edit : Based on Form Out Hogan

    Lucky Hannan.

Which is the other lucky player that replaces the out of form Hogan?

Remember though that players returning from injury can take time to find form and match fitness, as we have seen often and recently with some of our best players.

We can't expect an immediate impact from all of them if indeed they all return, but at least it will free up the likes of Trac, Hannan, Harmes and co.

It gives us some kind of structure back.

Does Hogan lead enough? Repeat lead? Is this a tactic by Goodwin?

Yes he leads. He got burnt multiple times on Saturday night.

The kicks to him were constantly high and  I noticed Jesse several times after we bombed it point to the kicker and say he wanted it in front of him and to lower their eyes.

The disrespect shown to a young developing player, such as the cretinous post above, who has had tremendous recent personal loss, plus his own not inconsiderate health scares, absolutely sickens me.

Yep, the kid has received criticism on this thread, changes v Port thread and post match thread.

    It's relentless!

"Inconclusive video evidence to clear Dusty."

They can't show the replay of the incident that was clear as day on Foxtel?

An all new low for the AFL.

    Unbeliavable!

    Inconclusive video evidence?

The cameras can catch you pulling out a $50 from your wallet in the hot dog stand but there's no further vision of Dusty....

  13. Now that I have slept on it a tad, I've come to realise last night wasn't as bad as it looked. In no way am I excusing some of the dumb kicking that was on display especially into the forward line but this has been an extremely tough 6 week patch.

Injuries happen to every club but the unluckiest aspect for us is the key cogs that it's happened to and its required a major structural change. Very hard for any coach to plan for this.

Midfield is now headed by a 19 year old in Oliver, Petracca had been sacrificed from where he's been excelling at all year to support Oliver and has performed admirably.

Hannan and Harmes have been effective either side of the centre square and now they are asked to be ball winners.

We looked most dangerous last night when we moved Hogan up the field and let Max clunk a couple in the 3rd quarter.

We are most dangerous when we have the luxury to make positional changes during the game because we are so well balanced with a full compliment. Oppositions simply can not stop us when this occurs but we have reverted to worrying about the opposition too much lately.

Our players are not C graders. some of them have been asked to play out of their comfort zones and it's come pretty sudden for them. The experience they will gain is invaluable.

In all of this you have to find some positives and ANB has definitely surprised me. Impressed with his last month and he certainly looks a keeper.

Structurally we were not much better in the Carlton game but that win could be huge come seasons end.

Margin for error is diminishing by the minute but on the other hand we have a lot of upside of getting back to our best.

Had a feeling they could have. Heart says: right call, save them, we have bigger badder games coming up. Head says: Is it a good idea to hold players back? man we could have used them tonight. Particularly Watts.

Probably a good decision to hold them back and I agree with you on Watts. His footskills and lowering of the eyes were much needed.
