  1. The same thing was also said about Scully.
  2. Who are St Kilda likely to take with pick 1?
  3. I liked the look of Laverde's highlights, he looked in control and had time and space.
  4. Happy to be completely wrong, but those highlights of Petracca didn't overly excite me. EDIT: Also, Angus Brayshaw looks like Cameron Bruce taught him to kick a football. Quite awkward and often with a high ball drop.
  5. Jetta would almost be one of the first picked at the moment.
  6. I agree, however with point 3 it should be spin around quickly and then run back (backwards).
  7. Again, today Melbourne players were far too slow to get behind the mark and turaround to look down the ground. Too often their first option was to look sidesways without having looked forward at all.
  8. I love how after the Collingwood game on Friday night everyone was saying that the kid they had on debut (who was good) must get a Rising Star nomination, but I remember thinking to myself that there is still eight games to go, early call. Surely JKH gets the nod.
  9. He'll be very good, just really needs to clean up his disposal.
  10. For someone so small he uses his body exceptionally well.
  11. I think quite a lot of Neeld's ideas were actually pretty good, he just in no way had the skillet to successfully implement them. The pre-game address is a classic example. If you read a transcript of it you would probably think it was reasonable, but when you see and hear the delivery it makes your skin crawl.
  12. We are talking about a 4th round Rookie pick, very low risk if it doesn't pay off.
  13. More than happy to give Jetta another chance.
  14. Two classic examples from the Adelaide game: 1) Trengove has a free kick after Adelaide kick it out-on-the-full. Trengove doesn't get back behind the mark far enough and turns a free kick into a pressured kick, as a result he is forced to kick it high in the air and the ball is turned over. 2) Dunn has the ball at fullback, after taking a mark he drifts to his left (instead of going straight back on the line) which means it is now play-on and he is forced to kick on his left foot resulting in a turnover. These are what kill me becuase Melbourne players turn free kicks into pressured kicks! By simply getting back behind the mark quickly, sufficiently and without playing-on Melbourne players can avoid these situations so easily.
  15. Can they not be traded under that contract?
  16. Why does Melbourne keeping taking risks with first round draft picks? We went for icing when most of us were crying out for a cake.
  17. Grimes kicks into the man on the mark which results in a GWS goal. Turns a free kick into a kick under pressure.
  18. Pedersen kicks into the man on the mark after taking a mark.
  19. Toumpas is the Gibbs of the draft, Wines is the Selwood.
