Nineteen asked me to pass on our work tonight on yet another interesting day at MFC Turned up at the G unaware to be greeted by shattered staff, if the CEO is hated by some, the staff loved him 15 of us turned up tonight which was great, Jason, Daniel, Andrew, Cheryl, Geoff, Dave, Michael, Michael, Stephen, Anne, Chelsea, Judith, Trish, Peter and Geoff who had to leave early, thanks to everybody who turned up including the newbies Surprisingly we still managed 22 sign ups but importantly about 300-500 phone calls Some of us managed to chat to Cameron, who made the effort to come and thank us for turning up to support the Club, and yes I shook his hand again I congratulated him on a couple of things that will be a lasting legacy, the emblem and the blazer, the players all love it, and in case any of the doubters want to question, I hand out scarves on Match Day and we had 18yr old Nathan Stark with us last Saturday, I asked him what he thought of the Blazer and he loves it. I have made a point of asking the others as well...so thanks Cameron for giving us an individual identity back...and thanks for the thanks....and the joke about applying for job at AFL HQ The Membership staff really do appreciate the help, so next Monday or Tuesday if you want, contact Nineteen on here.

Er why, I am 61, work in a corporate enviroment, and when I wear a long sleeve business shirt you can't see the tatts on my arms, was going to treat myself to a new one this year, as was going to do it for 60th but bit late, hopefully he will grow a beard and put a bone through his nose.............is this silly?.......christ we will be told he dresses on the left next, when it is only corporately responsble to dress on the right

How do you know they would have developed, Maric went to Richmond they didn't keep him, nobody wanted Cook, Morton was traded but can't get a game with West Coast after a full preseason......what is a star.......Neeld is trying to develop but the "supporters" don't want to give him a chance.......the Club has made mistakes but that is history, repeat history, supporting the Club is moving on.....when BP left I take it you put your app in for Recruiter...no, why not?........Carlton have had as many in the same period...how many premierships....even the God of coaches has them at 0 and 2........oh no not another fact.......don't need to drink

Along with 17 other Clubs, not every players works, tell you what go to the Geelong fan forum and look up Tom Hawkins or the Carlton board and Bryce Gibbs or the Bomber board for Gumbleton, Reimers and Courtney Johns....see what the fans think but in some cases the player will eventually come good....but hey patience, in short supply amongst MFC supporters....we have a squad of 44 players at the moment, this is what we are supposed to have......Mark Neeld is trying to get the 44 players he wants...like every other coach......move on, looking back over the shoulder achieves what?..........you ask the Club to move forward and some supporters on here....all you can hear is..."well I remember" FFS

read my above, when strauss, maric and cook were picked all the pundits said we had done alright and they had gone in the draft where they were expected to go....sorry facts again....I know RR and WYL disciples don't like facts but hey they exist......Hindsight.....don't drink by the way, but followed footy for many a year and a voracious reader and watcher of junior footy, all three you mentioned were absolute guns as juniors...Cook was AA.....but [censored] happens...if you believe the Club is dying then walk away....

Hindsight.....wonderful isn't it,......most of the picks were taken where the so called footy pundits said they would, so everybody was wrong....not just the Club...we have done a reasonable job of getting players down the order up and running......there is another team full of No 1 picks that at the moment is zip and 2, yes they have performed better but still have the same points as us, using your logic must be a valid point...or our you going to pee on that as well

The most amusing bit for me about the whole article was we had quite a few nominations, so the recruiting looked right, in hindsight which is a wonderful thing, didn't quite work out that way

I support the current administration because I trust Don McLardy, because he has done nothing to betray it I, along with every other poster or reader of this Board, do not have any idea as to what has occurred in the Club during the last five years, we only have ponfificating journalists and commentators telling us what they think occurred I am happy considering where we have been on the field, that we have 3 sponsors this year, we turned a profit last year, the membership has not taken a massive hit, the Footy Dept is getting the cash it needs (they are FACTS) The playiing group has a crisis of confidence at the moment, they will get over it
