The rumour about Hogan was floated some weeks ago, after he broke his collarbone, and was quickly knocked on the head by the club. Don't think he would have tried so hard to get back if that was the case, could have easily said I'm done for the year.

Have to agree with this, waited for years for him to realise his potential then he stuffs up pre season and then comes back after injury with poor intensity. No longer care if we trade him or not.

After reading Big Footy, all I can say is years of losing finals and finishing 9th has left them terribly bitter and twisted, I'd hate to see their response if they go out in straight sets.

Well I was pretty sure we were debating when the finals booking info should have been sent out. By the way at 5.00pm Saturday we still didn't know if we were in the finals or not.

Finals tickets went on sale Monday, the final 8 was finalised Sunday, so was the club expected to send out the ticketing guide after selling had started?

If he doesn't have a good finals series I'll begin to doubt.

Yes, what did we do at the start of the game, we came out and tried to play safe. If you try to play safe you're not taking the game on, if you're reacting to what the opposition is doing and not initiating then there's only one way the game is going to go. As someone said in another post, it was like they were playing not to lose the game rather than going out and winning it.

Probably just wanted to get into the St.Kilda players heads re the current game. By the way I don't subscribe to the get ahead of ourselves theory, I agree with Gary Lyon, I think that when faced with opportunity to achieve something, we choke.
