Hey Radar. Turns out that I will be in Manila for a couple of nights at the back end of my trip, courtesy of Philippine Airlines changing my damn flights. P.M me with the details of how to find your bar, and I will place a 2018 members sticker next to yours.....

Never understood those who hope for the the oppo sides best players to be playing against us. Daft. I just want to get the 4 points, and while I believe we can win the game against a full strength Cats, any star player out makes a win more likely. Hoping Danger/Ablett and Selwood are all missing that day. Wont be celebrating any less if they are.

Do me a favour, and stop replying to my posts unless you have an actual reply that's relevant to my question. I asked for opinion on a players skills because I cant see any. The other 3 answered perfectly, you did not.
-
He replied with something approaching an opinion of what I has been missing in regards to Wagner, so my post obviously got through. The other 3 posters gave interesting replies the first time.

You make some of the most pointless posts on this entire board, with so many of them a simple cut and paste of a previous pointless post of zero value. Have a look at the other 3 people who replied to my post. All gave an opinion of what I might be missing, and added value to the thread, while yours was yet another cringeworthy fanboy whinge.

Going for the K-Pop look. Jacknam style

Blight thinks Dees will struggle to make the Eight.

mentioned a grand total of 2 players. Lever in - Watts out, then spends 2 minutes taking about how we cant challenge because of a "statistic" Would have been safer to make mention of our mental fragility, or how vulnerable we are to injury (heavy burden on Max etc) Possibly the most boring and pointless prediction ever given. -
For Greene? Kid can play, but jesus thats huge coin/contract length considering the list they have. Reckon @Ethan Tremblay might be on to something.

I'm hopeless at this kind of stuff. I have not seen a single aspect of Wagners game that is worth a spot in the senior side. I can see the positives on O Mac, and am rapidly warming to him as a key defender, but I cringe every time Wagner has the ball in his vicinity. Terrible situational awareness, very poor lateral movement for a defender, and a huge turning circle. He even annoys me how he runs with those wrists of his cocked like a girl. What am I missing?

From the first game I watched him play, he had one elite skill, and that is ball to foot speed. Consistently faster than anyone else I have ever seen. Also like his work in the air. Hits a pack like a much taller player. Very very happy with this news.

The past decade has all been about forlorn hope. For the first time in 10 years, I now have expectations. I still think we can roll Geelong in round 1, if the mental side of the game is totally switched on.

Not all old people. Just our old man. I would have put a months salary on him fu&%ing it up, then getting all huffy and indignant, and blaming mum. "yeah, you'd know"!!!!! -
Nope. Visiting workmates in Pampanga and Subic Bay, and family in Tablas / Romblon. Flip missus loves her Demons, and will make sure we are somewhere we can watch them play. I will be the only white fella in a small town (Alcantara), probably with a makeshift esky full of beer, shouting at the screen at a hot, dark and smelly internet cafe full of confused or scared locals.. Will take my Dees stickers there and leave a souvenir so people can remember the crazy drunk western guy.

If this is the Tilly I sat next to at the Bulldogs game at Casey many years back, it would have been a very interesting game if there were any Tiger fans about. Tilly doesnt hold back....... Come over to Philippines on your way home Tilly. Plenty of good bars there to watch the footy at.

Post Match Discussion: JLT #1 vs North Melbourne

Some people being very unkind to Oscar. I thought his field kicking was really good. Was out muscled in a marking contest once, but also took some terrific defensive grabs. He is improving. Also some love for Pedo is warranted after his season last year. It was career best, and he played his role fantastically well at times, especially with Hogan out. Good game, very pleasing result. Nice to see a smashing at any time. Getting excited for round 1 -
According to the stats our midfield is below average

They would be runaway leaders of the grog and illicit product ladder though. -

Cant say I have every been embarrassed by any on my actions while supporting the Dees. Had an ex wife threaten to leave if I didn't stop carrying on. That didn't work out so well for her. -
What an embarrassment we have been for half a century. My god.

11 hours ago, Sylvia Saint said: On a more serious note, it's hard to take much from a Mickey Mouse game of 'footy', but a few things stood out. a) Petracca made me nervous every time he changed direction or went air born, but his ability to keep his feet is outrageous. b) Melksham and TMac have a vortex like ability to split the middle of the big sticks. c) Bugg has a distinct lack of ability by foot and will struggle for games as such. d) Seeing a blonde #4 with tattoos and some mongrel was a refreshing change. Please add context to your post by giving us a clue who it is you are referring to.

Marketing? I like the away strip, apart from the 70's flashbacks.

He certainly looked very serious when they showed his mug on T.V That's the mindset that will take us deep into finals. Lets hope the entire club is thinking the same way.

@Satyriconhome said we would be taking it seriously. Seems he had the good oil. Brayshaws comments post Grand Final (hehe, wanted to insert that somewhere) went along the lines of being competitive in everything we do this year. After the brain fade of last year, it was nice to hear that. I firmly believe that the mental side is the thing standing between last years result, and greatness. Would like to have seen the kids, but the stand in coach wanted to WIN. Love that mindset.
