  1. Knifed again!
  2. Only one of...he's mellowing.
  3. Bringing in McKernan as a break-in-case-of-emergency when we have Gawn, Jackson, Bradtke (admittedly raw) plus Tomlinson and Weideman who can both provide a chop-put if needs be - how much glass are we expecting to break?
  4. Agree, and it's ridiculous to expect any List Manager to be overly open, especially when they don't even know what currency they have to bargain with. In Mahoney's case with no clarity as to what picks we may be receiving (or may not if no trade is agreed) for Pruess, Hannan, ANB, T.Mac, O.Mac and possibly others?
  5. @Unleash Hell, you suggest that "@Ethan Tremblay = Tom Browne"...good to see that blasphemy is alive and well on Demonland (it's natural home).
  6. Agree with the posters saying that it's likely to hold up our trades. Could work for or against us, too soon to tell so not much point in working ourselves into a state of angst.
  7. Yes, potentially huge ramifications. If Daniher, sometimes brilliant but quite fragile, netted Pick 7 (albeit by compensation, not trade) which equates to 1644 on the AFL Draft Value Index, then it can be argued that Cameron's value should be more. Possible scenarios (equivalent value in terms of AFL Draft Value Index): Almost Pick 3, GWS get picks 13, 15 and swap 30 for 37 Almost Pick 4, GWS get picks 13, 20 and swap 30 for 37 Pick 5, GWS get picks 15, 20 and swap 30 for 37
  8. Damn right, well played GWS.
  9. The way I see it @Dr evil MAY have been correct at a given point in time, and then Isaac Smith changed his mind. If that's what happened then perhaps then the good doctor was quasi-correct.
  10. It's hard to know. It's another conundrum in this thread of conflicting perspectives...
  11. Not completely true @Dr evil, there are those among us who see you as 'a colourful trade-period identity'
  12. Ethan Tremblay > Daylight > Twilight > Moonlight > Tom Browne
  13. + ANB
  14. No need, it's 'the sharing economy'. Just use the designated "Smith polo', should fit okay: Isaac Smith 188cm, 83kg, Brodie Smith 189 cm, 78 kgs.
  15. I'm somewhat relieved, a 3-years contract was too long.
  16. Well done @MadAsHell, that's a shoe-in to be a 'rumour' on trade radio tomorrow.
  17. Yes, it's a bit hard to fathom. Guess they must really see themselves as being on the cusp of premiership as opposed to the cusp of a precipice.
  18. Yes, I'm not too fussed either way, on the proviso that we get that younger, and capable, recruit for the vacant wing.
  19. Not so sure...think 2020's short quarters may have been to Geelong's advantage; kinder to 'older legs'. Guess we'll be in a better situation to gauge that next year.
  20. Dr. Evil Vs Tom Morris A crucial battle in the context of Demonland's 'trade-breaker' league ladder - @Ethan Tremblay being the reigning premier.
  21. Thanks for pushing up TMac & ANB's trade value @traderadio, you guys are bricks!
  22. No, no, no, Geelong 2022 should be a lock.
