Jay Kennedy-Harris
http://m.melbournefc.com.au/news/2016-06-17/kennedyharris-injures-hamstring-again I seriously feel for Jay. He's had an awful run of injuries so far this year.

When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records?
Great stat. We just missed out on the ton by less than a goal against St Kilda last week as well.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Very early days but jeez, Oliver has a real 'Dangerfield' vibe about him. His breakaway pace and genuine X factor means he could be anything. That mark he took on the weekend oozed confidence as well. Having the guts to take on your man one on one in the defensive 50 and take a specky on him, you don't see that from many first year players.

He won't just start on the ground, he'll start in the centre square.

Tapscott was literally built like a brick shithouse in that he couldn't move. Oliver is built like a brick shithouse with jet engines attached to it.

Anyone for cricket?
Australia are dominating after the opening day of the first test against NZ. Warner (163) and Khawaja (102*) both made hundreds while Burns (71*) contributed a handy fifty in his first knock as test opener. Steve Smith (41*) and Khawaja are now at the crease and look set for a big second day.

We just need to pick up Lovett and all of a sudden it's 1995 again.

Wow that was unexpected! Didn't even realise the category B rookie list was a thing until now. Anyways, welcome Joel!

Delistings/trades at end of the season
If we're unable to find an A grader to trade our first pick on, then I'd be happy to take it into the draft. Although it's a shallower draft than previous years there's still plenty of talent that'll be recruited in the first 15-20 picks.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
This is why next year is so important. We must continue to improve next year so we can start appearing as a suitable destination club for players.

Not really enthused on Matt Crouch to be honest. A great clearance player but his kicking ability is down there with the Terlichs and Bails of the footy world.

Roos is pure class. Can't believe people are emailing him over a trade that hasn't even happened yet. Although I'm not sold on Melksham, if we get him for a reasonable deal (3rd round pick, maybe an exchange with Howe) then I don't see any problems with it. With guys like Trengove, Petracca, Frost and Kent (plus hopefully a Prestia) pushing for selection next year Melksham way not even be in our best 22. With Melksham, we are trading for depth, not starting 22 players.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Seems we're preparing for the likely departure of Howe and maybe Garland. I like the idea of Plowman. Another skilful GWS player who's been riddled with injury. Wonder if we could package him up with Tomlinson?

Delistings/trades at end of the season
TMac is a key position player who'll lead our defence for the next decade. We keep him.

Don't mind Bell either. He's a big bodied midfielder who can rack up 25 odd touches a game. Knows how to kick a goal as well. He's basically the player Tapscott should've become.
