POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
If you count Jackson's goal in the second, we had a run of 11 goals all kicked by different players. EDITED: Slight statistical error, whoops.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
I don't think it's be brought up yet, but how bloody awesome was Bowey's intercept and goal? Kid can seriously play.

TEAMS: Rd 05 vs GWS
The 'Wilbury' returns! Gee our defensive depth is something to behold. All of Tomlinson, Smith and Petty could present a case as to why they deserve to be the third tall behind May and Lever.

2022 AFL Season - Demon Highlight Videos
Loving the content! Assuming you're taking the top 3-4 performers from every game, it goes to show what an impressive array of performers we've had over the first month of the season. Only Petracca and Langdon have been featured twice!

NON-MFC: Round 4, 2022
Ed Langdon might have some GOTY competition... Shai Bolton is a deadset freak.
-
CASEY: Rd 03 vs Williamstown
Goals to JVR, Laurie and Mitch White so far apparently

NON-MFC: Round 4, 2022
Terrible decision against Maynard. Brilliant effort.

CHANGES: Rd 05 vs GWS
I know he didn't have a great game but I think the death penalty is a tad harsh.

POSTGAME: Rd 04 vs Port Adelaide
Coming off two consecutive six day breaks, I'm happily taking a 5-6 goal win. Some of the boys looked spent in the final quarter. Great to see Maxy back to his best. Jordan continues to improve week by week

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Thanks for these edits TMD. Just a thought, it might be worth chucking these in a separate thread, as I feel they can get lost in these post game ones. Great stuff!

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Watched the replay yesterday and I thought Fritsch had a better game than I first gave him credit for. Not a big night on the stats sheet, but he did a couple of really good team things that set up some shots at goal. - Paddled the ball to Langdon who kicked it to Weideman for his first shot of the match (behind) - Laid a strong tackle in the first quarter which rewarded him with a set shot (behind) - Stepped through a tackle and kicked the ball neatly to Sparrow in the second (goal)

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Surprised to see that Jordon finished with only the 16 touches. Seemed to be around the ball a lot and generally used it well. Really liked his game tonight.

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Great call. Kicked a ripping set shot in the second quarter as well when we were struggling to convert in front of goal.

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Kudos to some of the younger boys Jordon, Bowey and Rivers barely put a foot wrong all night.
-
POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Shout out to Essendon for putting all of their time and effort in locking down Petracca which allowed Oliver and Brayshaw to run rampant.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Bit of light rain at the moment. Might be a slippery pill in the first quarter.

First game I've attended since ANZAC Eve/Jonesy's 300th last year. Excited!

Jordan Lewis - a retrospective
To this day, I still say that we should've given Crossy another year.

Jake Bowey Rising Star #2
Random rising star fact. Since the award was introduced in 1993, there have been a total of 21 players who have been nominated twice. Melbourne has had five of those players of their list Nathan Jones, Jordan Gysberts, Sam Blease, Luke Jackson and now Jake Bowey.

Alex Neal-Bullen
There's plenty of stiff competition at the moment, but a top 5 finish in the BnF isn't out the equation if ANB maintains his current form. One of our most reliable kicks and decision makers at the moment. We saw flashes of his ability back in 2018 when he kicked 25+ goals and, but his growth as a player over the last year has been immense.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
1:07 on the Langdon video is my early contender for play of the year.

TEAMS: Rd 02 vs Gold Coast
Looking like it's going to be a wet evening in Carrara. Wouldn't be surprised if pull a late change and being Bedford back in for a tall.

Rutten said what .......... ???
Friendly reminder that the AFL now apparently uses Neeld's press conferences as media training as an example of how not to behave in media commitments. https://amp.theage.com.au/sport/afl/neeld-just-one-part-of-the-problem-20130617-2odd2.html
