  1. He only actually realised the sacrifices over the past 12 months. Most potential draftees realise it at least 3-4 years beforehand. In 2014, Oliver was "tubby" according to a few teammates at the Bushrangers. If you consider how far he has come in a short time of "discipline over indulgence" (Lyonism), the upside you see might actually be higher.
  2. At least Roosy/Goody get another maniac on the field in the Red and Blue.
  3. Brainstorming exercise..................... If Fyfe was a Victorian (and he's not), would you consider Fyfe for Hogan plus 3rd round pick this Christmas. The lure for Hogan to go home and awful supply will get to him eventually. What would WC give up for him? Gaff (23 y.o) & Shuey? Gaff, Lamb and 1st round pick next year? Hogan's price is high. If the inevitable will happen one day, might as well cash in big in the boom.
  4. Have we got a black'n'white instagram pic or slide of young Jack having a go at the older school bully?
  5. Many here can knit-pick at his odd mis-kick etc.. This bloke is so un-Melbourne and will have a huge say in changing our culture. He has heart and guts and gives 100% every minute. So many credits in the bank, it aint funny. Injuries aside, Brayshaw, Viney and Kent in the middle in the 2019 GF might be a pipe-dream, but they will stand up on the last day.

The thing that hurts with Wines is that he wanted to come here. As I posted with my first post on land, basically there was a chance to build a fraternity here…a brotherhood. I'd love to know the inside machinations of the decision. Neeld probably wanted to exert his power over Todd.

I'll buy the TMac shares. Has a tank. Can keep the most dangerous multi-dimensional-mobile-tall quiet. Without Frawley, with Dunn has held up a defence that has had heaps of I50s against it.
  8. I have held Roos in the highest regard since 2004. I think this is a flat-out error of judgement. You can't make a leather purse out a a sow's hearse, as I say...now. But if anyone can do it, Roos can. I just thought it made more sense to work his magic on someone raw with some guts and speed for example. This may be the only time I'd ever be able to say to PR, "I told you so".
