Fair call, and i'm sure i hope exactly what you do that when he returns his speed and confidence is back. -

Seriously mate, there is no need for that. -
I'm sure every player has said they're going to walk out of frustration with the crap that's going on at some point, doesn't mean they will or won't.

Haha just a brainstorm -

Isn't a calf the standard excuse to drop a captain injury? -

Really makes you wonder if the AFL is potentially appointing Paul Roos as our coach what else they might be up to. -

Both couldn't deserve it more. -
I can't wait until we can write MFC as the most improved, really want something to throw back at all the media and people who bag us on a day to day basis haha.

Mick Malthouse said the same thing about Carlton last year, of course they are going to deny it at this point. we just have to wait and see what happens
-
Thanks mate, i really appreciate it! It seems we are starting to see the players starting to understand and respect what Neeld and co are asking them to do, our lack of ex in the midfield is painfully obvious but i think we have been doing reasonably well considering, get clark and dawes in the team together and our last 6-8 rounds might give us some real momentum running into another big pre season.
-
He seems abit more assured these past couple of weeks, after the Essendon game it looked as though he was understandably having doubts about his plan and his ability to do the job, but now he seems like he has turned a corner and things are falling in line abit.
-
I thought it was pretty established that it would be Todd Viney before the GWS game, although i'd rather Craig or Rawlings personally
-
I'd say that's the case, but i think it was pretty obvious that the moment he did his injury in the pre season we had to lower our expectations of him for a good part or all of this season. Unfortunately that hasn't happened for some people, which is totally up to them.
-
True or False, it is all going to be denied at this point, if we lose to gold coast by 10 goals and they sack Neeld on the spot we might have a fair idea why though
-
It wouldn't surprise me if this sort of recommendation had been made by jackson and the AFL, they may help pay for him or something, but if it's true they are obviously going to deny it while Mark Neeld is head coach.
-
I have made bold the players i think we should consider, the older ones could come in and play the sorta roles we recruited byrnes and co for like Hayes and Chapman, but both from great clubs would help with the culture shift.

Fair call, stress fractures are pains of things
-
He was very highly rated as a junior, would get a decent run with us and wouldn't cost a huge amount to lure down, he is from Albury wodonga in north east victoria so melbourne would be closer to home than sydney.
-
I see what you mean, but that's going on the idea that the biggest issue he has is OP, i seen glimpses of speed last year, even during training this year has has looked quick at times so i am more inclined to think the issue is still his stress fracture and a lack of match fitness, but that's just my opinion i might be totally wrong.
-
So much of this comes down to our ability to keep this list together, we are asking to keep our big names, frawley, hogan, and co from leaving and drag in new talent, with free agency every year this is going to get harder until we improve I love this stick together theme Mark Neeld seems to be working really hard on,
-
To me it looks like he is trying to do too much, love the confidence of the kid, but as much as we need to understand he is a first year player and we shouldn't expect him to save us right off the bat, he needs to understand the exact same thing, will be a great player for us in a few years though
-
Fair enough about Mcdonald, at some point guys like blease need to go from kids with potential to consistant performers, he has a chance to do that this year and i really hope he can, his speed is an asset to any side
-
I sorta didn't know what to make of Garland last year, now i see no reason he can't be our most important player. He has All Australian potential in my opinion.
-
Yeah sadly i agree with you, but they have plenty of good young mids, Anthony miles is one i used to play football against and he seems to have fallen out of favour with them abit, i wonder if he would be worth a try, probably wouldn't cost a heap to get him

Just felt abit bored and thought i'd through some questions out there who do you think is our most improved player in 2013? who do you think has gone the most backwards on 2012 output? Surprise packet? For me our most improved player is Luke Tapscott, he seems to have finally settled into a position and i love the physicality he brings to the table each week. I think Tom Mcdonald is the most obvious player who has gone backwards, as people have mentioned this is for acceptable reasons and i'm sure he'll find form Jack Trengove has been a little up and way down but i am giving him the benefit of the doubt with how serious his injury during the pre season was. and the surprise packet for me is actually Matt Jones, I wasn't sure if he'd realistically be able to hold his spot in our midfield but not only has he done that, he has probably gone ahead of everyone but Nathan Jones in this area, looks like he and Terlich were fantastic selections in the draft.
