Pretty sure VC is Vince given he was in that position in the team photo and on stage earlier

It's really quite scary to see where we were under Neeld vs where we are now.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Ted Lasso replied to Freddy Fuschia's topic in Melbourne Demons
People who have been so impressed with Brayshaw and Oliver will be stoked when Petracca gets out there, imo he is the best of the three. -
Could Melbourne have Western Bulldogs-like resurgence in 2016?
Ted Lasso replied to Curry & Beer's topic in Melbourne Demons
I reckon this will take care of itself with an improved midfield and Gawn giving them first use -

Ted Lasso replied to Curry & Beer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Agreed on Tom, but he's also closing in on 100 games and is capable of being an AA quality defender and to play finals we are going to need every bit of that. Gawn i think will be fine but we have so little depth Dom at his best is the classy mid we are lacking but he is also capable of kicking multiple goals which takes him to another level of importance I think we will be hoping for 50 from Hogan, 50 from Garlett and another 50 maybe from Watts, Kent, Tyson, Vandenberg, Kennedy, Pedo, Dawes, as a collective. really need one of Dawes, Watts or Pedo to step up and kick 25 plus goals and be that second target to take the pressure off Hogan -

depends on a few things imo 1. Tom Mcdonald reaching top form and staying there 2. Max Gawn staying fit 3. Dom Tyson getting back to his best footy 4. we find ways to score that aren't Jesse Hogan and jeff Garlett. -
Christian Petracca's toe injury (in full training)
Ted Lasso replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Back in full training, just waiting for him to get a solid block, optimistic about round 1 but round 2 probably the aim at this stage. -
Training - Wednesday 9th March, 2016

what time is it on? -
I personally think he'll be back with the drug cheats for 2017 and then retire when he realises he isn't part of the future there.
-
Most pleasing thing for me is we are moving the ball far better, and we have kept opposition teams scoreless in 3/8 quarters this year, our biggest worry is we are slow out of the blocks at the minute.

Watts wants to stay but will explore free agency.

Sums it up almost to well. -
The Chewbacca defense should get the job done.

Ted Lasso replied to Bombay Airconditioning's topic in Melbourne Demons
He only stays at the MFC if he earns the right to, if he leaves, probably means we don't want him. -
Could have been one of the best players ever if not for his injuries, still a bloody good player even with them!
-
Just outside the best 25 or whatever we are picking at the minute, i reckon he'll play against the Saints.

Tom McDonald needs to take a good hard look at himself.
Ted Lasso replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
He just needs to understand he isn't a great kick, but that doesn't mean he can't be a very good player, he just needs to take the first option rather than trying to do to much -

Ted Lasso replied to Freddy Fuschia's topic in Melbourne Demons
as good as our young list of mids is, Oliver could easily be the best of them. -
I'm not sure we really needed anyone playing on boyd to be honest, he is going to again be the VFL's highest paid player

Saturday Talking Point: Gillon McLachlan has lost the plot
Ted Lasso replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
if they AFL allows jobe to keep his Brownlow it's taking the stance publicly that drugs in sport are okay, and disrespecting everyone else who played that year and didn't cheat. they have no choice but to strip it or watch the code lose respect and go down the toilet -
I'm not so sure, last year i think we would have lost that game. to win 10-12 games this year we are simply going to have to find a way to win those games, even if it's ugly and we are well below our best.

The beauty of the situation for me is i almost find myself forgetting we still have Brayshaw and Petracca to come back in as well, our young talent is as good as anyones these days -
Tom McDonald needs to take a good hard look at himself.
Ted Lasso replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
He made some horrible decisions yesterday, if he is going to as alot of people suspect, join the leadership group he should know his limitations and not constantly overreach and cause turnovers, if he is a [censored] kick, then take the easiest option or give it to someone who can kick his defending and run are great, just needs to work on disposal -
What was wrong with Goodys presser? he can only answer the questions he was asked...

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN KENNEDY
Ted Lasso replied to MadAsHell's topic in Melbourne Demons
Looks like he wins more one v one contests then loses, i think he can play a role, certainly an upgrade on some of the blokes who have been getting a run in recent years and should have decent scope to improve -
Confidence is a huge thing, could be the difference between wins and close losses so fingers crossed we carry it into the season
