How good is Salem, just finds an option when there isn’t any.

2-7 we kicked that quarter. Ugh I know it's wet but we need to take those chances
4 rushed behinds?

In the mid season review I would be interested in the perspective of the team on the broader competition.
Do you think the current top 4 are the teams in contention and will remain unchanged? How important is a top 2 finish considering Port and Brisbane would be tough road trips in finals?
Given it is related to our drafting position, what do the team think the likely finish will be for an improving Fremantle side?

BT said the players look like they have heavy legs. (I normally don’t listen to him).
The talk of loading could be a reason for our poor execution and I hope that’s the problem, because I have no idea.
But for Gods sake, if that is the problem, can we freshen the Players up for Kings Birthday, because I believe I’m not the only one who really wants to beat Collingwood.

How do you see the Jackson vs Gawn match up and do you expect any of the team to target Jackson?
@binman You often talk about being happy to lose clearances, with the aim to get the opposition on turnover. How is that strategy impacted by wet and slippery conditions and what tweaks are needed. It seems intercept marking in defence on wet slippery days is near on impossible, so does this make the tactic less useful?
I had the level 5 Riverbank seats on Friday(equivalent to the ponsford stand seats). I was very concerned that we struggled to exit our defensive 50, and our point kick outs are so predictable. Port had a number of successful set plays that allowed them to exit much easier. Do we need to alter kick outs when it’s wet, and or have a few more strategies to upset the opposition defensive zone?

There were some dark clouds but dry since about 3pm. BOM indicates it’s unlikely to rain

I think I see some sun, let’s hope it’s not wet. I think we play better in the dry(I also support better when I’m not wet )

Should Petty be moved to the backline or remain as a forward?
Related question are teams trying to stretch our backline by playing with extra height up forward?
It seems experimentation is continuing. Against the suns it appeared as though Max and Grundy spent time helping each other in Marking contests more than usual. How long do you expect this experimentation phase to continue and when will they will settle the game plan down?
Hypothetical question, if the grand final was played tomorrow would you have BBB or JVR in the team?
Question for Andy, is it possible to see which post on Demonland has received the most thumbs up, love and thanks reactions? Id be interested to know which post has been the most popular and what the topic was.
Keep up the great work on the podcast Gents!!!

Very important signing, great work!

Great to get the 4pts, felt like one of those games where everything goes against you especially the umpiring.
Defence wins flags. Our one wood was our defence, and the anchor of that is May, Lever, Petty.
I can’t help but feel McVee playing so well has pushed Petty forward. But the Defensive chemistry is not right. A few players are not at their best back there and are out of form.
Lets fix our one wood, get back to miserly defence and attack on the back of it.

Just wow.
A festival of footy turned into how can we dump on South Australia.
I think it will be bigger and better next year. I like the concept.

What’s the compensation for all the other teams since both SA are getting an extra home game, let’s hope for integrity( which the afl needs to look up the meaning) sake that the adjustment to the draw is made by the afl
The grand final is at the MCG every year, our home ground for the foreseeable future. Compensation enough?

Great work on the podcast guys.
How did you view the experiment of rotating the second ruck position across multiple players as alluded to by Simon Goodwin in his press conference?

Pickett an automatic inclusion, but I can’t find anyone to drop today. Chandler was excellent.

If this decision were made it would definitely pull at the heart strings.
Norwood FC is the reason I'm a Dee today.
Same. I hope NFC a great club with a great tradition gets up as the next club after Tasmania.

Is this dejavu, I’m watching the Adelaide thunderbirds and nsw swifts, and there is a power outage that’s stopped the game.
I blame the Petty connection.

George,
For those of us living interstate and unable to attend the meeting, is there a person(s) who have put their hand up to act as a proxy for those of us who agree with you and democracy?

Fritsch?
I find that an unusual selection but ok.

Ditto.
Clearly the best player in the competition.

So odd to see a shoot out, not really our brand at all.

Is it likely to be an all or nothing vote on the changes, or would we be able to vote on each of the proposed changes?
The last time we did a constitutional change at our local sports club, each clause was able to be discussed on its merit, but I’m not sure if that applies here ( or would be practical)
75% is a very high bar needed to ratify changes and if they are all lumped together I can’t see any of the changes getting up.

I’m still confused what was paid here, at the ground it seemed like it was paid for a block, but surely not.
I need too see a replay, but I’m guessing I’ll still be confused.
