  1. You knew it was coming
  2. 16 seconds... beat their first quarter goal that took 18
  3. His name was Tomlinson
  4. Could have done without that last Port goal
  5. Dominating the hit out numbers but being thrashed in clearance numbers
  6. Interesting... game not unfolding well to say the least Early days
  7. Jefferson has not filled out much over the summer to my eyes. JVR in his second season bulked up and was pushing for selection by years end. Will be interesting to see how Jefferson grows Tholstrup is getting better each week. What position would he take at AFL level
  8. Ridiculous umpiring
  9. Tholstrup has some strength That was his goal
  10. A very classy goal by Jefferson
  11. Casey being taken apart
  12. Fullarton not showing much unfortunately
  13. Casey having difficulty stringing together any meaningful possessions
  14. Thought they would be better this year
  15. One of my children live in USA. He's a mad sports fan. Tickets to most sports in the nose bleed section are around US$200 even for College football (Ivy League). He says last minute baseball tickets can be had for around US$40 but they play a lot of games. Ticket prices here can be a struggle for many but overall they're not too bad. It's all relative. Went to a Test match in Delhi. Premium seats were A$10 and included a snack box. For me VFL matches are incredible family value
  16. Pies 20 points down at 3/4 time and what's the bet BT says... "Pies would back themselves to win it from here"
  17. Could get ugly May have to read my book instead
  18. No Tomlinson.... very surprising Makes it more likely that Petty will play back Hore v Woewodin is probably decided by where Salem is played
  19. Maybe but you are asking a lot of a first year rookie Next year is his key year
  20. Depth He's competing with AMW Woey and now Tholstrup. There's no other midfielders at Casey should we lose an AFL mid so one can see the sense in the signing
  21. We played Jack Bell for a couple of seasons after Majak Daw retired. Many here were asking that he be drafted. He had a few years at St Kilda as a youngster I believe Not sure where he's playing this year
  22. Apparently a little wet underfoot at the Gabba with 50mm yesterday and 35mm the day before. Less rain today and tomorrow
  23. The Tassie solution was easy but no one wanted it. North plays ten games in Melbourne which were designated home games and 10 games in Tasmania. After 5 years the team and its admin is moved to Hobart but still continues its 10 games in Melbourne. Sure it gives North a leg up financially and a continual home ground advantage but it is better than propping up two teams... North with AFL money and Tasmania with Government money As to NT getting a team why not Ballarat or Bendigo.. it makes as much sense if not more. Anyway good luck to the Devils... they may need it $4M odd penalty every year that the stadium is not built is a lot for someone to find
