Dunstan had 5 games for us in 2022. We won four of them but I cannot recall him impacting the game. Most say he's too slow for AFL.

"Stale" is a good description .. as a player would you be wondering about the incessant boundary tactics when the rest of the comp has moved onto fast corridor play. If the "lose the clearance and get them on the rebound" is a real strategy it's laughable against the better teams

just watch Casey today we'll play the boundary and bomb it forward. Even have the left side kick out. Do we ever practice anything different ... even for a quarter or two at VFL level let alone at AFL level

I've said it before but it's not in their interest to promote the VFL. Double the attendances to 2k and you need more toilets, attendants etc etc. Ideally you could select say 4 grounds .. Vic Park, Port Melbourne etc etc and get them to 5k mini stadiums but until then thank heavens for the streaming coverage we now get. It's a pity because it's a great product for those who want to watch high class football in a relaxed and informal setting
