  1. watched most of the Casey game Flashes from the usual suspects but no one starred.
  2. Last week before the game I posted that the next three games would define our season 0-2 so far Anyone for 0-3 before coming up against Collingwood to make it 0-4
  3. yep any day you kick more behinds than goals is a bad one
  4. Let the excuses begin
  5. nah... it's CAS Corridor Aversion Syndrome
  6. Pick 13 for Jackson... such good negotiators we are
  7. This is not very enjoyable to say the least
  8. Story of our season Same at Casey Boring team to watch save for 2021 finals series
  9. Werribee forwards giving Casey a bath in that last ten minutes
  10. Casey having a hard fought battle with Werribee
  11. agree my other hope is that with Salem back and Rivers in form we look for the corridor kick every now and then. I would like to see one of Spargo, Kozzie or Chandler concentrating on being a corridor receiver
  12. a restricted free agent as I understand it
  13. It's an advertisment for games starting at 7:15 Few would have watched to the end
  14. It's a big one tonight Go Swans (simply because I don't want a resurgent Carlton next week) Continuing on my what's best for us theme Wins by Hawks, Giants, Tigers and Suns would be good. Time to concede top spot to the Pies and back them to beat everyone but us. (Yes I hate it but it makes sense and 2 is as good as 1 in the top 4)
  15. His time on ground is substantial but even when TMac is not playing at Casey they have to give forward time to Joel Smith and Jefferson. My guess is that it's between 70 and 80%
  16. two of them usually would stay until the AFL game has started. In theory they could be at Werribee and warmed up in time to come on in the second half. This would mean Casey would be two players short for a half. All in all I can't see it happening
  17. Someone left the cake out in the rain I don't think that I can take it 'Cause it took so long to bake it And I'll never have that recipe again Oh, no
  18. Probably our biggest ever Pies supporters pay and they were likely quicker off the mark than ours. Not sure what the monetary return is from the AFL section but it must be good. An old article suggested we get 41% of the revenue at the MCG but how revenue is defined I have no idea
  19. Harmes... a bit of a surprise
  20. One problem is that all the apartment development profit goes to Racing Victoria. We'll need a first class community benefit story to get State/Federal money. Most of those have already been played by the other clubs but there may be one or two left
  21. plus lovely fish and chips on the foreshore before the game !!
  22. This is where the debate is but who replaces him? Smith... not the same type of player Do you play JVR in the TMac role and then play Smith or BBB in the deeper forward role. To win we need 5-6 goals from the small forwards (Kozzie, Chandler and Spargo) and the same from the three tall forwards. Then you get the remaining 4-5 from Petracca and the other mids giving you 15 odd goals. If one of these three groups fail you need someone to kick a bag by themselves. Realistically only Fritsch and Kozzie are capable of that effort.
  23. Avalon airport oval We certainly aren't getting the old character filled grounds
  24. This is what playing Collingwood when they are a game clear on top of the ladder looks like
  25. El Matadore !! It's the new play
