  1. True, I had to actually look up the difference between principal and major sponsors on the club website. I assume Infiniti would also get to request a certain level of player to be their ambassador. Hence Lever, Trac and Hogan in today's photos. They may not be the ambassadors but are probably indicative of the value of the sponsorship.
  2. "The deal includes INFINITI branding on select team apparel, media walls and inside the team rooms during game broadcasts, hospitality at Melbourne home matches, player ambassadors and game day activation opportunities."
  3. Fear not. At my parents house I have the 7” vinyl of the traditional version. Does anyone have a turntable I can borrow?
  4. Nice... but I’m saving my money for the replica premiership cup.
  5. And just like that the AFL take away another small piece of our game. The very early warm up used to be a good way to speak to a player without huge crowds around. I’ll always remember as a kid getting to the MCG super early with my parents. Whenever a player wandered past on the field on their way to warm up you could call out for a quick chat and an autograph. Its not the end of the world but it’s just another of the good things about our game being pushed aside.
  6. Seems like a big crowd here. Just got Petracca to autograph my membership card. Hope it’s still valid now!
  7. I look forward to this interpretation being consistently and impartially applied throughout the year. *laughs uncontrollably*
  8. He needs to win the Brownlow first then he can go around chicken winging, elbowing and eye gouging people without repercussions
  9. This kids a game breaker. Good to have him on board for an additional 2 seasons.
  10. Commemorative posters available now!
  11. It just feels like a schoolyard session of kick to kick. At least the speed of the game seems to have eliminated the stupid niggle of players punching each other in the back whilst waiting for play to resume after a goal.
  12. Hang in there Dr. I adopted the Seahawks when I Iived thereabouts in 2006. Watching them win a Super Bowl (unfortunately on TV as I was back in Oz by then) was a small sliver of what I would feel if the Dees scooped a flag.
  13. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Whiteboard Zone.
  14. If Peter Jackson delivers the goods (and I think he will) then I vote that this thread be renamed “Sponsorship - No Problem!”
  15. He’s filling in for George Harrison and Tom Petty as a Travelling Wilbury. Back after the North America tour. ? Well it’s alright... we’re going to the end of the line:. ?
  16. Anyone know where Lever finished in the 2k time trial? Curious to know where his general fitness level is compared to the rest of the team.
  17. Especially after Grundy had done the same thing earlier on without penalty.
  18. Sometimes those like minded individuals are the only reason I walk out of the G not feeling like a complete loon for cheering so loud for the Dees. Its been desperate times for the last ten years and I'm grateful persistence pays off.
  19. This just in.... AFL provides illustrated guide to new rules:
  20. Isn't this where the umpire shouts "Skill error!" which excuses all manner of sins and abrogates their responsibility to actually make a decision.
  21. That would explain why Clayton was giving him an earful during the 3Q.
  22. Yeah, he was certainly telling him something forcefully. Hopefully he was saying "Drop it in my lap and I'll do the rest!"
  23. Anyone else see Oliver absolutely giving it to Gawn in the 3Q? As they were walking back to the centre circle after a St Kilda goal Clayton was shoving Max in the chest and shouting at him. Anyone see the incident that brought that on?
  24. You've got to at least take it out to dinner first.
