Two things i have noticed this year from Pig and Melksham. They both have a quality that i call the "PERSONAL" quality. Several times this year when they have been shaded in the contest, in one on one, they both give displays of REPEAT maximum personal effort, with no holds barred. They get up off the ground and go for it. No trainers, no pats on the back, just back into it. They are not the only ones in this side who do it, but i have noticed them make it personal........

It's been like watching a different game this weekend of footy. You constantly see, (and i made it my intention to watch the flows of other games yesterday and today), in other games, blokes running past within 10 metres of the player on the mark, you see blokes getting pushed in the back, you see players being held and shepherded off the ball, just to name a few. You go to our game and we are being free kicked against for the same things. Every other Team"s Captain and other players question the umpires without fear. What the bloody hell is going on???

Well if you promise not to use the cone of silence, i'll say (whisper) the first twenty two games this year we played in.........

Overheard at AFL Headquarters this week by MRP rep about what to do to prevent MFC from playing finals We can't free kick them out, this would look too obvious, so we will 50metre them out of the contest, they won't be expecting that.... my precious......

I would think, in consideration of the flack floating around this weekend, about the general ineptitude of AFL Umpiring there will be a big increase in the number of Free Kicks being awarded. Of course, i think this will have a couple of immediate effects, firstly in the pace of the game overall, and secondly in the frenzy that has become the last Five Minutes. I wonder what things will look like if this happens?

Why not explain to the Football Crazy Public, and The Administrators, about why, for generations and generations, as handed down, this certain team needed/ needs to be trampled, never to rise again, never to be given succor, never to lofty heights. It says it all when Pederson puts his hand over his fellow player's mouth to not draw another penalty, doesn't it? Why would Maggots deliberately try to even up the count at the end of just about every game unless they were told to by AFL? A topic i admire at last..........
