Love it how we are in the mix for everything (17 yr olds, cloke, boak, Viney ect) With this in the paper other teams may try make a play for our pick 4 and it could work the other way around with teams approaching us offering the above for this pick.

We dont need to use pick 4 to beat Geelong when pick 12 will beat them anyway. Only competition we may have by using pick 12 is that the Bulldogs can trump us, however are they willing to give up there first rounder?

Anyone know if once we lock Viney in with our 2nd rounder, if its possible to still swap our 2nd round pick? so another team gets an upgrade. Could be useful for trade scenario's. We could do a 2nd round swap with Collingwood, so it would be say pick 22 for pick 36 or so?

how have i not taken into account the f/s bidding? if we are already discussing things with port then whats stopping us from discussing things with GWS. And in my scenario i did mention (IF gc dont bid) meaning i understand that the bidding process is before trade week

i don't know why Couch was elevated, am i the only one here who thinks he is over-rated? I actually see him as being the worst player on our list, harsh but someone has to take that spot. He is the same type of player as Magner and Moloney, just not as good.

Love it how everyone brings 'X Factor' into play. it seems to get thrown around a lot on demonland, my guess is that it gets thrown around a lot because its not a measurable attribute so no-one can be proved wrong by saying someone has/has not any 'X - Factor'

Your facepalming because you think a potential star would fit better in our team which has a good scoring rate from inside 50s rather then an inside mid like trengove + a keyback like Frawley? or a good half-back rebounding defender? Im facepalming at your facepalm.

Not just Watts but Watts + another quality player or first round draft pick which is what would be needed to get it across the line.

and it would take more then just Watts to get Cameron so I dont know why people are comparing him to Watts (Including myself) It would take a Watts and a Viney to get him. or perhaps a Trengove and a Frawley. I highly doubt any of you arguing in favor of him would be willing to give up that. Plus the coin of course

Why get a star when one is not needed? I would much prefer an all rounded balanced good performing team over a star and a bunch of mediocre players.

All these people drooling over Cameron are probably the same people who drooled over Butcher last year, and look how his season is going. Cameron had a few good games coz he was under-rated so probably didnt even have the best defender on him half the time with izzy taking the better defender. He is also yet to prove any versatility like Watts has, it would be interesting to see if Cameron could be thrown at half back and rack up 25+ possessions and several goal assists. Also note that our team already has plenty of forwards who can kick a goal and a mid-field which was struggling against GWS. We got Rivers/Garland/Clark/Howe/Jurrah/Watts/Martin who all can go forward and our conversion rate this year has been fine. It would be foolish to invest so much into a part of our team which is already doing fine, we need to invest in our mid-field.
