  1. Hes Goneski. its extremely obvious
  2. its one thing to play on the traditional 'we hate Collingwood' banter but this just makes you guys look like [censored] aches. Morons
  3. you guys are kidding arent you??!! i waited 2 minutes for that video to load? Dead set soft C%$Ks if you think that was even an issue to bother writing about. go and switch on the soccer
  4. I'm very certain he's gone. There are too many indicators suggesting so and his moving of the goal posts in what he needs to see to stay really shows he committed to leave a long time ago. Problem is the boys keep ruining his reasons for going. A real shame and perhaps he is slightly regretting it at this stage.
  5. This article and stance by Bartlett concerns me greatly. A very similar sounding pie in the sky stance as one C. Schwab was chasing. Melbournes best and most achievable long term goal is to be the strongest 'boutique' club in Melbourne. Of course over generations it is possible to become a big club but we are missing almost a HALF A CENTURY of supporters to draw from. Do we really believe that one, two or even 3 premierships will turn MFC in to a mover and shaker of the league. Rubbish. Look at Nth. The success through the 90s amounted to nought as soon as they started losing. He really believes that we win a few games or a premiership and 50,000 members will appear? Collingwood has a huge following , not because of 1990 and 2010, but because of decade after decade after decade after decade after decade of sustained and reasonable success to varying degrees. If melbourne had a premiership dynasty similar to geelongs recent years, the real growth in support wouldnt be evident for about 10 years beyond that, when the kids who jumped on the bandwagon were old enough to buy memberships. (Hence Nths spike in support recently on the back of the kids of the late 90s moving through.) I strongly recommend Bartlett concentrates on the on field success and consolidating a strong but 'boutique ; sized club. From there, lets go and aim for being a powerhouse but we dont get to stuff up for 50 fuckinng years and then be a huge club. Quite gutted to hear this coming from Bartlett. I was hoping the back of CS was the end of this fluffy bullshiit
  6. I see it like a bloke trying to baulk a tackler. The upper body, (Frawleys words), go one direction but if the tackler has any hope of getting him he should focus on the what the hips are doing - in this case the hips are Frawley's action or inaction as it would be more appropriate to describe it as. Watch the hips
  7. I feel exactly the same way. the compo for FA must be retained. Otherwise clubs like ours would be screwed
  8. Just watched the video...... Gawnski Now his requirements are to wait to see if the club is going in the right direction 100% of the time. His reason for leaving has been removed slightly so has had to verbally 'raise the bar'. Dont blame him and he seems a good bloke. Just not falling for it
  9. Guys, in these situations you cant think about what makes sense when trying to determine a players decision. The key is to ignore that and just focus on body language and such indicators. Trying to forecast a players decision based on what you think is right is pointless. The body language and visual indicators tell the story. Forget about what you think would appeal to him. The facts are that his reason for holding out doesn't hold water any more. The silence and lack of decision is very telling
  10. I think Frawley is gone. The claim about wanting to see direction is a stalling ploy - Chip wants the cash. Hes using the excuse of seeing the direction of the club as a way to hold off questions until after the season when he can announce his signing with another club.
  11. If Clark was planning on hinting on a return at some stage, considering the reason he retired was to remove himself from the spotlight as it was affecting his mental health, then its fair to say a medium such as the Footy Show would be the last thing he would want to use to announce a possible comeback. Whether he plans on returning or not, i dont believe we will get a hint either way on thursday night. It just wouldn't make sense
  12. What is a 'Dee' ? [censored] idea
  13. Gee our midfield is looking ok long term. Would love to nab one more GWS kid
  14. those words are 5 pearlers! Whatever lies ahead this is going to be one hell of a journey. Savour the little wins along the way.
  15. Is Pedo just having a purple patch or have we found our 3rd tall to slot in with Hogan and Dawes? Should we go for Cameron or is GWS going to require too much in return?

  17. Id love Jones to win 3 Blueys in a row as I feel after the last few years carrying the Club he deserves to have his name in the timber 3 times in a row. Saying that, I reckon Tyson could pinch it
  18. remember stephen powell. He didnt mind a roost of one step
  19. unless hes waiting for us to win a premiership, the time is now. blind freddy can see the direction and improvement so he needs to do the 'Clubman' thing and sign on now if he truly only wanted to see direction. A signature from frawley now would consolidate the positivity around the club at the moment. What a way to say to the other players, "get around each other and lets do this". After the last few weeks of performance, I find Frawleys silence deafening and in my mind points to his commitment to leaving at years end. Im not saying he doesnt have a right to wait till years end but if he is being totally honest with the Club then id say the time is now
  20. I dont want GWs to improve until we have finish picking over their list
  21. His clangers overshadow a lot of his good work. Provides a lot of dash and feeds a lot of ball out. He seems to win his fair share of one on ones as well. that missed goal against WBdogs was a bad miss but the TV didnt show that he'd busted his nut from the back pocket to get to that position. He was totally spent. we needed that goal but a lot of blokes wouldnt have got there in the first place. He'll more than fill a place in the side until we can recruit more class. an absolute trier and never leaves anything out on the ground. I dont believe he's missed a game ?
