My question is, once built, will it be competitive with other clubs facilities, would it attract players etc? Also where in the diagram are the club administrative facilities proposed?

The days of Tom Scully touring facilities are over. You play where you sign and you keep away from your team mates sisters and girlfriends.

  2. I like the Caulfield proposal.

Easy for staff and players to get from Toorak ,Brighton,Armidale, Malvern and St.Kilda.(Where they live)

    Against traffic in the AM.

It's a place with some soul and history-unlike Casey.

It really is our Zone (In the old days) .Robbie Flower from Murrumbeena.

    I think this will work.

MCG is not an option Picket-we built this city but it's now a public colloseum.

The filth can have Olympic park-its a dog track so it's fitting.

Yeah something like that, I joined Ology around the Neeld era

It was the worst of times. It was the worst of times.

    it was what it was.

Actually-The whole quote from Dickens sums it up far better.

It was the best if times. It was the worst of times. It was the age of wisdom(lack). It was the age of foolishness.it was the epoch of belief,it was the epoch of incredulity,it was the season of light,it was the season of darkness,it was the Spring of hope,it was the Winter of despair.

I never even saw Charles at the ground. He must have watched it on Tele.

Off the top of my head, only a handful recently

Nank and Hannebery were pushed out.

    Hannebery was finished physically.

Just remind them he chose success over money 😉

What I found bewildering is they were booing Petty early in the game. Like, aren't they trying to woo him? Or are they going for the whole treat them mean, keep them keen approach?

I watched the Port Adelaide vs Essendon game last night as a neutral, but also as someone who has a bit of a dislike for both sides. I did however, enjoy seeing Port tip Essendon completely over the edge because the Bombers have been unashamedly promoted in the Herald Sun throughout the preseason and into the first few weeks of the season proper. No coincidence that Mark Robinson, the paper’s chief football writer, is an Essendon fan. I wonder if we are now going to see a change of direction at the HUN and for someone among their team of journos to start questioning the culture of the club at the hanger?

Robbos just an average bloke with alcoholic dementia, doing an average job,for an average paper and an average radio station and tv show with a below average IQ and hygeine regimen.I actually tip my hat to the poor c.nt.He's the highest achieving slob we've had in Australia since Sir Les Patterson and he isn't even a parody.

    One in Vic/Tas apparently?

Doesn't having it in 2 different places make it not a Gather Round??

The Tasmanian round will be a double header.

  9. This really is just a case of Pork Barrelling by the South Australian Government.

But its a vast improvent on the Barrelling they've done in the Barossa Valley and Snowtown.

Oh, I was already only too aware of the attitude to craft beer and the reasons for such, and wasn’t surprised at all.

It’s the attitude to the name Brewmanity that I find puzzling. They support FightMND - in particular, financially - so they’re more than entitled to use that name, IMVFHO.

Do they have ethically produced Carlton Draught on tap?

    That's all I want.

I realised some time ago my alcohol consumption is never going to save the world.
