For anyone that's at the ground, how did Jefferson get his 3rd goal?
-
Jefferson allegedly just kicked his 3rd. Stream is down for me.
-
Looks like some players are closely checking Laurie at stoppages.
-
McDonald playing like a man desperate to get back in the seniors.
-
McDonald, Tomlinson and Laurie probably the best of the Demons with Howes getting a bit of it as well. Adams looks mote comfortable than last week, getting out bodied a few times by a much more seasoned player in Francis which is fine given the discrepancy there in development and size.

Star Saint to wait, Hawks up the ante, Giant in no rush - https://www.afl.com.au/news/891943

You usually have good mail so this is somewhat comforting (so long as it's not a lingering issue). I know there are a lot of (non-covid related) illness going around at the moment including respiratory and gastro.
-
Brown this year, Yze next and think Kalani White the year after that if I'm not mistaken.
-
I'd rather freo tank for Reid.
-
Guess we will have to call it a draw now.
-
6. Lever 5. Gawn 4. Pickett 3. Petracca 2. Oliver 1. Brown

I like the response from our captain and surrounding team to stick up for McVee, but let's be honest there wasn't a lot in Bakers action. Maybe it was more words spoken.
-
I would expect so. May for Tomlinson is the other possible change pending recovery from injury.
-
Maybe it was never really "free kick hawthorn." Perhaps it's "free kick A. Clarksons team."

Excited for tonight. Weather should be in the low 20s by kick off so will be a beautiful night to be in the crowd. We got >58k to our season opener last year on a Wednesday night. I would hope for a similar or greater number seeing that Saturday is a far more convenient night and less overall worry about covid. Having said that is was the grand final replay. Does anyone know how they do their crowd predictions? I'm going with 6 people tonight with only 2 of us being members and the rest will be buying tickets there. Can't imagine they could account for these people but I guess they have a predictive forulmula of some description.

I remember getting into an argument with a poster here (can't remember who) that slammed Boweys selection. They more or less wrote him off from the start of the year because of his build stating he would get destroyed in finals. Was one of the more odd interactions I've had on here.

Looking forward to seeing McVee and Laurie in their debut games tomorrow night. Not enough positivity around this for my liking.

Don to wait, Roo in demand, Dog closes on new deal - https://www.afl.com.au/news/882460 Nothing too exciting reported here. - Port one of a few clubs interested in Ben McKay - Parish holding off re-signing for now and qualifies as a RFA - host of players edging towards re-signing with their clubs including E Richards, J McGovern, J Motlop No mention of any Demons.

Apologies if I'm stepping on someone's toes here. Haven't seen this thread started yet so thought I would get the ball rolling with the season just 3 days away now. Hawthorn Team to Rise: Carlton Team to Fall: Collingwood Brownlow: Christian Petracca Coleman: Charlie Curnow Rising Star: Finn Callaghan Yes my predictions may be biased.
