Norm Smith's Curse replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I heard it from someone who knows a player agent and I never made any comments about Kozzie. Someone else also posted it but no idea. -

I glad the club went with best talent and not position as I think a bit more depth in the midfield is essential. -

I thought McAdam looked ok at Adelaide in one game I watched. Not sure where he fit in our attack though - as a third forward option that was neither tall or small? Not fast and wasnt able to kick distance but its possible these were injury limitations. I think he was playing a very strange role in the game I saw him at for the Dees, whether he wasnt sure of his role or was not playing it properly I dont know. People forget Lever's first game at the Dees had a few worried. -

Heard today on the golf course of whispers that McAdam is considering his future and is no certainty to play on. -

Did we approach Cam Bruce? He has some coaching runs on the board. -
This wasn't really the media though - Houston and Tracc are managed by the same management so he would have more inside info than we got.

I just hope everyone arrives with their shoes this year if we have a preseason camp!

Haha come one we fielded whole sides that were not at AFL level. Sure he is skinny, seems slow and can't kick long distances but he has a pulse! -
Put last pick 9 was Sam W.

It's as impossible as Petracca to get a trade even if either player wants one.
-
No keen to go after he was shopped.
-
I heard a few weeks back that Clarry was keen to go, havent had an update since.

People who expect other people to publically name their sources are ridiculous. Ive had two sources in my time and neither of them would have stayed a source at all if I had outted them, one former employee of MFC and a guy I play golf with every fortnight who knows people through sports management. Naming the would have just strained that relationship and their own employment.

I have massive massive concerns about both Fullarton and McAdam. You can be slight if you are quick or can kick. If you can't do either of those it's a struggle.
-
Ive heard he cleaned out said locker due to old socks smelling.
-
Can't blame Lamb when we pickup no one. It was own goals that caused all that.
-
Andrew Brayshaw coming home?
-
I mean the take away narrative from that press conference was 'we were a chance to get Houston but due to our own goals and inability to manage leaks we will concentrate on pick 5'

There is one ten seconds passage I that interview where he looks like he is having a turn. I don't get how Green only says our midfield will have Petracca and Oliver in it next year, not why they had concerns, what was done to alter their situations, or any of the details. Goodwin comes out with some spiel about enjoying the process as if everything is fine. Gawn says he can't say but he is annoyed his opinion gets made public. Lambie comes out and tries to diplomatically talk for the whole club like he is personally responsible for everything, all while refusing to really explain what Petracca's issues really were or give anh details of why Oliver was discussed with other clubs. And then had to basically admit we are not a destination club. This reminds me of the time I went to a Casey game and the only drinks they had were VB cans at quarter time.

Clarry was Def open to a trade.
