The Thunder win game 6 and the series 4-2 ! The Spurs were brave and had their chances . Congrats to OKC for making the final . A team that has been threatening for a while and now they get their shot at glory . Durant , Westbrook , Harden and Fisher have all played well in this series . The Spurs lead by 15 at the half but couldn't hold on . Tomorrow we're in Boston for game 6 . ESPN 10.30am . The Celtic's win and they're through . OKC can rest up and will be secretly hoping for a game 7 ! It's been a cramped season and an extra couple of days rest is a distinct advantage .

Wow ! Great win to the Celtics . 15-1 run to end the 3rd quarter was a telling point and probably won it for them in all honesty . Miami have really missed Bosh IMO . He played limited minutes today but might be better on Friday ( our time ) . James' 30 and Wade's 27 just wasn't enough with Boston's big 4 all doing well again - Garnett 26 , Pierce 19 , Allen 13 and Rondo 7 (with 13 assists) . Bass and Pietrus stepped it up as well . Just a good team effort again . Boston weren't expected to make the final but one more win and they're in . Spurs are at OKC tomorrow . I'm going with my earlier tip - San Antonio to force a game 7 . How could I forget 'Slapshot' with those Hansen brothers - classic . 'Any Given Sunday' was a top movie as well .

Nearly all the sporting movies that I've liked have been boxing films , Raging Bull , Million Dollar Baby , Cinderella Man and The Fighter being my favourites and I highly recommend them if you like boxing . Funny enough , I've never seen any of the "Rocky's" ! . 'Eight Men Out' was quite good - the story of the 'fixed' 1919 World Series . Still haven't seen 'The Natural' but it's on the list . I follow Boston , mainly because I've got a couple of mates that follow them , but I also like St Louis and Philadelphia . It's not like the Demons for me though . I like the sport but much like most other sports that I like , I'm just nowhere near as fanatical .

Thanks for that team salary's list 'GTG' . Very interesting and I have known a little bit about the descrepencies before . I'll bookmark it and have a good study of it at a later date . That 'free market' which leads to some teams having a money advantage seems unfair but it does make clubs always strive to get bigger and better . What I would find really interesting is the teams that have risen up the 'spend' table . You may know some of these teams off hand ? The Yankees and I'm fairly sure Boston and Philadelphia have always been big spenders . 'Moneyball' was terrific but I would have enjoyed it more if I'd known that 'Brad Pitt' had nailed his part . I didn't like him in it but I've been reliably informed that he got 'Billy Beane' down pat . Were you 'armed' with this info before you'd seen it ?

Big win for OKC , the Spurs had their chances . It's going to be tough for San Antonio now but the pride this veteran list have can't be underestimated . I'm expecting game 6 to be a beauty . Spurs in a close one to force a game 7 . As for tomorrow , the pressure may just get to Miami and if Boston have the energy levels they can win it in a boilover . Boston wins game 4 ! Tense finish with James and Pierce both fouled out . 93-91 win to the Celtics in O/T . Boston went out to a big early lead . The big story will be Miami only scoring 2 points in overtime ! 2 points ! Boston's big 4 all played quite well . Pierce 23 , Garnett 17 , Allen 16 and Rondo 15 . James 29 and Wade 20 for Miami . Those Red Sox of mine are starting to come good hey 'GTG' . Another win today against your blokes for a 3-0 sweep ! The 'steel' grey mixed in with Boston's red and blue looks quite impressive . Did our Demons ever have grey instead of white ? I seem to recall that we did . And Philadelphia are getting back into it , Dappa . That East division is a bunfight . Washington and Atlanta have come back to the field . In fact , both the East divisions in either League are tightening up .

It's a weird thing with basketball , a team only needs to miss a couple of shots and have a turnover or 2 in a 2-3 minute period and suddenly 10 points are shaved off . And Miami have great scoring capacity so like a lot of good teams , they're not really out of games until it becomes absolutely obvious . OKC win again , this time a lot closer but the pressure now goes back on the Spurs . I hope they can win game 5 because the Thunder look very strong at home (where game 6 will be played ) Tomorrow Boston and Miami go at it again . 10.30am ESPN .
