Reported on SEN that Howe met with Collingwood today. With their depth of young mids is there anyone we might be interested in?
-
I thought just the opposite, I read it as he will stay.
However I have been wrong many many times.
-
Thank you for that. Where do I find these stats?
-
Does anyone know where I can get full team stats from the weekend?

A big shout out to Declan Keilty who will debut tomorrow as Casey's 23rd man. A terrific young kid who got overlooked in last years draft but continues to work his backside off and is getting the rewards he deserves. At 195cm and still only 19 I think this kid has a massive future. Good luck Dec.

Why play a bloke who is not in form in the magoos, has not shown any of the assets required for a senior player and frankly really doesn't deserve a game!??
Sheeit we want to want this bloke to be a good player, more probably because of what we missed out on a at draft time ( Wines)
Problem is he is wanting in a number of significant areas!
Next!!
Whilst i agree that at this stage Toump has shortcomings, i am not one to right off players who have not had a fair run due to injury. i have faith that Jimmy, whist perhaps not being a star, can be a 200 game player. I am also not one who consistently and relentlessly compares him to other players .

I would play Toump and I would send him to Montagna. He played on him last time and was shattered after the game when Joey kicked the winning goal.
It would be a real opportunity for one of Roosy's "learnings"

Like him or loath him, Robbo is about the only scribe holding Roos and the coaching staff even remotely acountable. I for one (without being dramatic) think there should be more scrutiny placed on the leaders within our football department.
Where there is a lack of accountability there is complacency.

How depressing Demonland can be! We played a practice match against a top four side on a hot and windy day, interstate and on the ground that they play on every week, all week. We suffered no injuries, they suffered three & one looks very serious & to an important player. Both sides made lots of mistakes & both had one lousy quarter. They had a very strong side, players of note missing , Fyfe & Sandilands, but not too many new faces. We however, were a vastly different side to the one that finished round 22 last year. I don't think the various opponents that Garland & Grimes were on had game changing games, so not sure of the angst. I saw some average disposals from a lot of very good players on both teams. I prefer to look at these three games as an opportunity to have a look at our new recruits, watch the development of some of our 2nd year players and of course salivate over Hogan. He will be a star....no doubt about that. The season proper starts in about a month......then we are entitled to make some more honest criticisms but the denigration of some of our MFC players at this stage of the year beggars belief. Some players will simply be grunt players all their footy careers. All teams have them ...in better teams ...they don't stand out as much ...but you will never get a team off 22 super stars. Hopefully as our better players improve & dominate....we won't need to have so many whipping boys. Footy is back....we still have hope.....we can look forward to weekends again....& this year I for one can already see that it will be more enjoyable....
If I could like this ten times I would. I would also add FROST! With his pace and dash he will be a star. Not to many teams going around that have a key defender that can add that much run, carry and attacking flare.

Cheers... I did not know that

Watching a replay of the 1999 cricket World Cup and I thought I saw Dave on the balcony at lords with the team. Can anyone confirm if it is him?

Tyson Goldsack?

Looks tongue in cheek to me 'dazz'....
Nailed it

Really surprised none of the new draftees were included.
Terrific looking group well done to Chunk and Dunny, great reward for loyalty and consistent performance. Great to see an emphisis placed on experience.

Merry Christmas Demonlanders! Fantastic news. What an absolute champ.
-
Some of the kicks in his highlight clip are beautiful, Suckling esc.
-
Chappy mark two....but with more pace.
Love the kid, has as higher ceiling as anyone on our list.

Whose son is Heeny?
Sydney academy player.

What a bargin!

It is truly ironic that posters on Demonland who spit out damning opinions of Lumumba label him 'self righteous'.
Can the guy play footy? Will he improve our list? Does he fit Roosy's plan? Is the trade fair? The rest is bulls**t.
Roos wants him. That's good enough for me.
This.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
in Melbourne Demons
Posted
If we get Jake for a second round pick and trade Toump to Port for their second round pick, it is essentially Melksham for Toumpas.
