  1. Fritsch one handball! Same stats as Kenty
  2. I thought they were already... You can't expect a team to hit every one! In saying that, I think we are also playing pretty well. Just a little loose defensively but we'll see how it plays out. Trac needs to hit the sticks when he has the chance rather than trying to lay it off so much
  3. Yep Salem was caught in no mans land on several occasions either ball watching or guarding no one in particular... I know he's used for his offensive side but gee some of his defensive efforts are poor (usually due to his positioning as he generally goes in hard when it's his turn) By no means he is the only one, but he's definitely a player that teams will look to exploit
  4. Love what Bernie has contributed to the club, but I did notice he struggled to contest the high ball with the lack of spring and also a bit slow to defend the players with excellent agility (both never strong suits of his, but I think he's fallen away even more this season). With the added intensity of finals I think he may struggle more, which is a shame given the experience and stability he would provide
  5. Geelong play Gold Coast in Rd23...in Geelong...186 may be under threat
  6. Bad decision making and bad skill execution
  7. C'mon Demons, step it up again and hammer it home Based on today JKH, Vanders and Vince to hopefully be replaced by Viney, Melksham and Hibberd respectively
  8. Wow so with Lyons out that makes 4 of their Top 5 in AFL player ratings not playing! http://www.afl.com.au/stats/player-ratings/overall-standings#club/CD_T1000
  9. Hibberd not having a great game
  10. Behind the goal footage not great for Jones there. Had the chance to pick up Wallis for a while... But go the Dees!! Hammering them this quarter. Go Spargs!!
  11. I wonder what the players think about playing up in Darwin. Aside from the obvious physical effects, the potential impact on morale must also have some consequence. A happy team surely performs better. But then again the players may not have an issue with it and I have no idea of knowing...
  12. It's impossible to know how many games out of the 40 are being rated, but occasionally on the AFL Player Ratings twitter they post some tables which include those kind of numbers for the most improved, leading players in position etc. For example, Oliver is actually rated in 38 of his last 40 games so he has a great chance of moving into the top 10 rated players in the next few weeks. I'm guessing that Hogan and Hibberd are rated low because they have played just 21 and 29 games respectively in the last 2 years. We have plenty of players in the top scoring for the last few rounds
  13. Hellish Inferno replied to Josh's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
on afl match centre the crows have one more player on the list. 23 surely, can't be?
  14. We won that by 105 https://afltables.com/afl/teams/carlton/gamer.html
  15. We are now responsible for Carlton's biggest loss at the MCG, surpassing their 108 point loss to Collingwood in 2002.
  16. Is it possible for AFL players to put a team performance clause in their long term contract I.e. after 4 years must be playing finals etc? I know it can be done on other sports such as F1. Although could be seen as the player holding the club to ransom and might not be popular with the other players...
