Daw is unfortunate to have Max and Dogga ahead of him. Winning in the ruck and around the ground in his best this year.

Brown kicked a goal off a 50 metre penalty
Amusing. BBB good tackle rewarded. Goes back 25-30 metres for his run-up. Richmond infringe and BBB ends up running his 30 + ump' s 50 to kick the goal. One weird fitness program.

Has anyone received their email with barcode yet? I feel like I'd received earlier round emails by now but maybe I'm just paranoid at the prospect of missing Chunk's 300th.
HI Egg. The number is on your membership card just above the barcode

yes but having a reserved seat doesn't work for "compensation away game". it's all "melbourne allocation"/ "reserverd general admission",
Agree. Not our normal seats but reserved in the Melbourne allocation. Still have to be a jnr to avoid paying again.

Yep. Being a 71 year old junior seems to be the only way I can get the reserved seat I've already paid for :)
And 70 yr old Mrs B will be pleased she is attending with junior status

If it was Kozzie, the ump would have called unrealistic attempt.

Just as an aside, the grammar pedant in me would like to know when the noun 'failure' mutated into 'fail', which I was led to believe was a verb?
As one pedant to another, Cambridge, Oxford and Merriam dictionaries were onto it before you. Can't be ...ed doing the eymological research; you're on your own for the date.

Eade would be a good one.
For entertainment value only I’d give Grant Thomas or Malthouse a go, but then you might as well go the whole hog and drag in Ricky Nixon.
Congatulations on the layers of meaning in the bolded phrase. Pig allusion, Ru Paul possibilities and RN dragged through the muck

Sometimes they are quick in updating the podcast links. The other day when Pert was on with Andy Maher it went up straight away.
You are correct. It's there now - https://www.sen.com.au/programs/sen-afternoons/.

Currently on now.
Should be available as a podcast from SEN or iTunes in a couple of days. Currently the Mitch Hahn interview from 19 March seems to be latest available.

Who's up for some philosophical discussions about the NIETSCHKE drafting?
The philosopher had no 'K'. Possibly compensated for by drafting KK. The euthanasia advocate on the other hand ……… Yes, I am just filling in time in the long wait for our next pick.

So we didn't get Hogan this time? Well, it wasn't for the lack of trying by Brad Lloyd and his team. -

288 pages later, nothing happened. Could have been written by Samuel Beckett. Who would want to go to Freo and sing that song anyway? Happy to have him stay.

Now this is just weird. https://game-leaks.com/afl-trade-period-2018-trades-rumours-news/

(Dylan Shiel )The dramatic presents to make the midfield gun one of many highest paid gamers in soccer headlines the trade news just some days out from the beginning of free company. and
The Herald Solar reported on Monday, ...
Russian cyberattack on the trade period????

All this tax talk has me thinking. To any people here proficient in tax:
Could a player set up a company, have their salary paid to the company - and then pay themselves a modest wage over a period of time to save on tax? In theory that person could buy assets under the company too, like houses and cars etc. Hello 30%?Short answer - no. Long answer would be more boring than my last contribution.

For a start he pays tax at 49% and he pays a management company min of 2.5%. No one is dangling a $5m cheque.
At the risk of adding a boring factual component - the tax position is probably better than that due to sportsperson averaging, basically a provision that recognises the relatively short high earning period and allows spreading income over time. This is not advice, boring disclaimer, boring disclaimer that normally runs for 17 pages more.
Much more interesting - how do we use the 2 first round draft picks the deal would take?

I thought If you played less than 10 games in a season for Casey or more than 10 games for Melbourne, that you would be ineligible for Casey finals. Either option makes Bailey ineligible.
Team selected by Casey shows BF on the wing and football dept said he and Bull would fly back to play on Sunday so I'm guessing he's eligible.

Try this truncated version; the other was prefilled. http://www.mcg.org.au/getting-around/find-my-seat
If that doesn't work I suggest a decent glass of red is a better use of your time..

http://www.mcg.org.au/getting-around/find-my-seat?bay=Q55&row=BB&seat=22 type your actual seat details in and it actually gives a reasonable idea of the view from your seat FWIW.
